On the eve of the 34th anniversary of the sacred independence of our Homeland, celebrated in the International Year of Peace and Trust, the glorious Turkmen people are preparing with special inspiration for one of the key events – the next session of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. This important meeting is a true celebration of national democracy, confirming Turkmenistan’s commitment to the principles of peace, trust, and the well-being of the people.
On the agenda is a comprehensive analysis of the results of the work done. By the order of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the participants of the session will consider specific proposals for the development of all key sectors: from industry and agriculture to healthcare, sports, and education. The action plan for the coming year will fully align with the goals and objectives set forth in the foundational state programs such as “Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State” and the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country.”
The session will also review the draft of a new constitutionally significant law, “On the Legal Foundations of the Policy of Peace and Trust of Neutral Turkmenistan.” This document, initiated by the National Leader, is intended to legally enshrine the principles and priorities of permanent neutrality, which is especially important in the context of the 30th anniversary of this status. The adoption of this law will contribute to further strengthening Turkmenistan’s role as a peacekeeping state and a reliable guarantor of stability in the region. In preparation for this anniversary, the law “On the Establishment of the Jubilee Medal 'Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 ýyllygyna'” has already been adopted.
In addition to discussing key tasks dictated by the demands of the new era, the session will acknowledge the merits of workers who, through their inspired labor, contribute invaluable efforts to the prosperity of the Homeland. This will emphasize the state’s respect for the people's achievements and its commitment to long-standing traditions.
