Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of the glass-manufacturing shop in the territory of the industrial complex in the northern part of the capital.

Industrialisation of the country and expansion of an assortment of production on the basis of local raw materials are important areas of the state strategy initiated by National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag and successfully realised today under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. A great significance is attached to increase of competitiveness of the goods and strengthening of scientific and technical basis of manufacture. Positive results of the work promote creation of new industrial complexes and increase in production of import replacing goods.

In recent years, the country testifies to the active construction of new enterprises equipped with innovative technologies, use of local raw materials in the production, which correspond to the world standards and enjoy a great demand in both home and foreign markets. The opening of the new industrial complex with a daily capacity of 100 tons of glass production also clearly attests to the fact.

The present event testifies to successful realisation of the goals designated in the «Program of the President of Turkmenistan for Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028» and «Program “Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State: National Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022–2052».

... In the morning, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the venue of the ceremony of commissioning of the modern industrial facility.

Participants of the event welcomed the head of the state with great enthusiasm.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan solemnly cut a symbolic ribbon and opened the new industrial project. In that this moment, multi-coloured balloons were released into the sky.

The President of the country also familiarised himself with the exhibition of achievements of the construction and industrial complex, developed in the territory of the new enterprise.

Industrial and construction sectors play an important role in implementation of programs of social and economic development of our fatherland. Large scale construction projects realised all over the country promote increase of the demand for high-quality building materials and give a powerful impulse for fast growth of their manufacture on the basis of local raw materials.

Stands of the exhibition of ministries and departments of the construction-industrial complex, which display achievements in construction, electric power industry, manufacture of building materials and chemical industry. All these successes have become possible thanks to conditions created by Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for development of the sector.

Stands display various industrial goods of local manufacture. At present, production with the trademark «Made in Turkmenistan» is widely known in international markets. These goods are in great demand thanks to the high quality and ecological cleanliness. At the exhibition, one can also see electronic industry production. It is necessary to mark that the youth of the country brings a great contribution to development of this branch.

As known, a complex work is carried out for innovative transformation of construction and industrial sectors by diversification and as a result, a considerable progress was made in increase of potential of the national economy.

Along with it, the special attention is given to development of manufacture of various building materials, increase of their competitiveness and expansion of the assortment, strengthening of industrial, scientific and technical basis of the construction sector, introduction of effective tools of management. Thanks to the large-scale work, large industrial complexes, which manufacture high-quality building materials from local raw materials, were created.

Having familiarised with the exhibition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the office building of the enterprise.

There, a specialist expressed his sincere gratitude to the head of the state for the work conditions created and noted that the opening of the modern enterprise today thanks to efforts of the President of Turkmenistan will allow to provide completely various branches of the national economy with bottled products and requested to give his blessing to the work of the manufacture.

Here comes an exciting moment. - President Serdar Berdimuhamedov presses the button and starts a new industrial project.

Then, a short video of the work of the enterprise for manufacture of glassware as well as of the complex technological process of manufacture.

The President of the country visited the laboratory where a specialist familiarized the head of the state with the conditions created there.

As was pointed out, the laboratory is equipped by the hi-tech equipment from leading world companies. Thanks to the available technologies, physical and chemical test of glass production is conducted there. In particular, the instrument BTLT-2 is designed to measure the maximum resistance of glass bottles to top load pressure. The instrument Vici vishion carries out automated geometrical measurements, Labniks hydrostatic compression, and the AGR device assesses resistance to abrasion and other damage. All it guarantees a high quality of production.

The specialist expressed sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag for the conditions created for our youth for work at the modern enterprise and wished them sound health, successes in their state activity for the benefit of our people.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan headed towards the production shop where he familiarised himself with the technological process, which begins with fusion in the furnace. The raw materials consisting of local quartz sand, limestone, dolomite and other additives, are melt at the high temperatures reaching 1500 degrees.

Further, the liquid glass is delivered to the following production phase by distributing channels. There are such three-forehearth channels, each of which continuously supplies the industrial line with the liquid glass.

Then the glass mass is fed into the IS apparatus in which by means of blowing glass products of different sizes are formed. After they are transferred to the annealing furnace for gradual cooling of hot empties. If there is no due cooling, glass can burst because of internal pressure. Cooling process removes these pressures and therefore, the given process provides durability of products. There three such furnaces are established.

The cooled ready product passes onto the conveyor lines through the control and measuring equipment of quality, which is provided with chambers and gauges. There the quality assurance of each product is automatically carried out.

The production, which has successfully passed all stages of quality assurance, arrives at the line of automatic packing and further goes to warehouses for shipment to consumers. All-around automation of all stages provides high production efficiency.

Then, there a solemn ceremony of presentation of certificates to the new industrial project took place.

Chief Executive of Horn Glass Industries» (Germany) Stephan Erwin Meindl   congratulated all with the present opening ceremony of the industrial facility equipped with the advanced technologies.

Speaking of advantages of glass products, the businessman informed that the daily capacity of the new industrial object makes up 100 tons of production answering to ecological standards.

Having expressed his sincere gratitude for the efforts made for consecutive promotion of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany, the Chief Executive of Horn Glass Industries wished President Serdar Berdimuhamedov successes in all his affairs and undertakings.

Then, Mr. Stephan Erwin Meindl handed the Minister of Industry and Construction Production the certificate of conformity of the equipment established there to the international quality standards, in particular, those operating in Germany.

Further, the floor was given to the representative of Vetromeccanica Srl (Italian Republic) Alessandro Nigro who, having congratulated the gathered with the commissioning of the modern industrial facility into operation, expressed gratitude to the head of Turkmenistan for the created conditions to implement the project. Under solemn conditions, Mr. Alessandro Nigro handed the Minister of Industry and Construction Production the certificate of conformity of technological devices established in the shop to international quality standards, ecological management and safety.

The glass-manufacturing shop was also awarded the certificate of introduction of the integrated system of management corresponding to international standards from the Italian company "Bottero".

Then, on behalf of workers of the construction-industrial complex of the country, a fine Turkmen carpet was handed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

In the new historical epoch, in Turkmenistan particular attention is given to modernization of all segments of the national economy, in particular, to processing industries. The new industrial facility, which serves an example for effective utilisation of huge raw-material basis for adjustment of hi-tech manufactures and, as consequence, increase of economic potential of the state, can clearly attest to adopted target measures.

The new manufacturing facility is completely based on local raw materials and that is its distinctive feature. It is necessary to note that in the territory of our country there are major fields of similar raw materials, in particular, quartz sand, dolomite, and limestone and sodium sulphate.

Use of local raw materials allows not only reduce the cost of finished products, but also support uninterrupted operation of productions. In this regard, the modern facility serves another example of consecutive realisation of the large-scale government program for import replacement. 

The new project is equipped with the hi-tech equipment from leading world manufacturers: there, in particular, the automated control systems and quality assurance are installed and they allow ensuring of conformity of quality of products to international standards. So, a similar approach ensures finished goods an access to international markets.

The modern manufacture also envisages a social component: it will provide the local population with hundreds of workplaces - qualified engineers, technologists and others can apply their knowledge and skills in practice.

Turkmenistan successfully follows the course of industrialisation and modernisation. The present event, which highlights a new landmark in the development of the local industrial sector when the main emphasis is made on innovations, also clearly attests to the fact. Thus, the opening of the industrial project speaks of a significant step on the way of formation of competitive hi-tech economy oriented to the future.

Observance of ecological requirements - one of the main indicators of the modern manufacture. The new project of profile infrastructure was constructed according to international standards, including those in the field of ecology that promotes minimisation of impact on the environment. Introduction of advanced systems and ways of management of industrial waste there allows to prevent soil and water pollution and as result, to support ecological well-being.

In realisation of the project of the given construction, innovative solutions have been applied to rationalisation of gas and energy consumption. The given approach, which ensures energy efficiency, allows to reduce costs and to raise competitiveness of manufacture.

The capacity of the new project is capable not only to satisfy completely the demand of the home market, but also to adjust export of production corresponding to international standards. So, manufacture on modern technical devices on the basis of qualitative raw materials opens ample opportunities for export of glassware for foodstuff to foreign markets where the demand for such goods steadily grows. Export adjustment, in turn, will allow to diversify commodity markets and to strengthen trade relations with partners in the region.

In realisation of the export potential of the new manufacture a key role is given to favourable location of our country on the crossing of international transport corridors. It will allow simplifying logistics and to reduce transport costs, and raise its competitiveness in international markets.

Expansion of glass manufacture is dictated by aspiration to achievement of sustainable development as glass products are the most ecologic, including in respect of recycling.

The new manufacture will also promote development of other branches of national economy, as it will allow satisfying the demand of the food and pharmaceutical industries for high quality bottles and by that to reduce production costs and raise the quality of production.

Then, the head of the state handed the director of enterprise «Türkmen aýna önümleri» keys to new cars and special vehicles.

Today, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov large-scale measures are implemented for industrialisation, diversification and increase of the export potential of national economy.

And there today with participation of the head of the state, the opening ceremony of the glass production shop took place. Addressing participants of the ceremony, the President of Turkmenistan informed that the opening ceremony of new villages in Akhal velayat - Dovletli mekan in Ak bugday etrap and Bagtly zaman in Kaka etrap, settlement of Bitaraplyk and the modern automobile bridge in Koneurgench etrap of Dashoguz velayat as well as a new park in the capital will be held soon. At the same time, as the head of the state noted, in various corners of the country social projects will be commissioned into operation. 

The chain of the opening of new buildings will become a great gift on the occasion of the main holiday, which our happy people meet with new labour achievements, - Independence Day of Turkmenistan aimed at grandiose reforms under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. All this visually speaks of the motto of the head of the state «The Motherland is the Motherland only with the people! The state is a state only with the people! »

Then, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, having wished all successes, left the place.

Thus, the commissioning of the new industrial facility serves another evidence of success of the strategy for diversification and increase of the industrial potential of national economy under the far-sighted leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
