Today, within the framework of the “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” competition, announced by the President of Turkmenistan among workers of literature, culture and art, amateur young singers, as well as talented children, the final round of the “Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri” competition, dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland, took place.

The concert began with the performance of the National Anthem of Turkmenistan.

The annual creative competition among children is a clear indication that caring for the younger generation is defined as one of the priority areas of state policy, implemented under the wise leadership of the President of the country, successfully continuing the undertakings of the Hero-Arkadag.

The “Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri” competition plays an important role in introducing the younger generation to the national song and music art. Such competitions afford children with the opportunity to reveal their talent and increase their love for creativity and culture.

The first performance on the big stage is always an unforgettable event in the life of children, facilitating their spiritual development, helping to penetrate the world of art.

National songs and music instill in children such feelings as love for the Motherland, respect for the cultural heritage of their people, and pride in it.

The Welcoming Address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the competition was read. In his message, the head of state noted, “Ensuring the comprehensive development of the young generation is the main factor that guarantees the inviolability of the foundations of the state. And therefore, we attach special importance to the younger generation receiving a modern education, raising them in the spirit of love for the Motherland, loyalty to the principles of humanism, family values, national traditions and customs, and full healthy development. This is a key direction of state policy.” 

Then the final concert of the participants of the “Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri” competition took place.

The speeches that were given praised the great achievements of the Fatherland in the International Year of Peace and Trust, its beautiful nature, love for the Motherland and the happy life of children.

The audience greeted the performances of the talented children with thunderous applause.

...And now the exciting moment has come. The winners of the competition are announced, who, according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, are granted laptops, tablets and the corresponding diplomas.

Also, all participants of the final round of the competition were presented with valuable gifts on behalf of the head of state and Hero-Arkadag.

Participants of the “Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri” competition adopted a thankful address to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which they expressed sincere gratitude to the head of state and Hero-Arkadag for their tireless care for the young generation and the creation of all conditions for a happy life.
