On September 1, the first bell, which announced the beginning of the new academic year 2025-2026 in all educational institutions of the country, rang out.
By the noble tradition, the first day of the new academic year started with flower-laying ceremonies at the Monument of Independence and the monuments to Berdimuhamed Annayev established at the Pedagogical secondary vocational school named after Berdimuhamet Annayev in Arkadag city and at the secondary school № 27 in the settlement Yzgant of Gokdepe etrap of Akhal velayat.
On Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, in all secondary and higher educational institutions of the country solemn events, in which the congratulatory message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which he expressed his wishes to the younger generation of successes in the world of knowledge and sciences, was read, took place.
The first lesson was devoted to the International year of peace and trust and the upcoming 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of our fatherland.
Education of the younger generation on the basis of national and universal values is one of areas of the transforming policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag and at present, successfully realised under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In that connection, the special attention is given to improvement of the national education system - an important component of further development of society and the state.
The Era of Revival in the new epoch of the powerful state is the time for prompt advancement of our fatherland by the way of reforms, stipulated with a high level of development and teaching, introduction of scientific and technical achievements. On the occasion of the holiday, children who for the first time enter the world of knowledge, were presented with computers "Bilimli".
In recent years in Turkmenistan, a wide network of modern educational institutions equipped with the latest computer technologies and multimedia systems was created. The opening of new educational institutions in various corners of our fatherland was timed to Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, annually widely marked in the country. Solemn ceremonies of the commissioning of new secondary schools and kindergartens in villages and cities of our beloved country visually testify to the fact that the education system successfully develops according to world standards.
On the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year in the capital and Lebap velayat a solemn opening of new 4 comprehensive schools for 2800 children and 4 kindergartens for 1120 children took place. Deputies of the Mejlis, members of the Khalk Maslakhaty in velayats, cities and etraps, representatives of local executive bodies and public organisations, honoured elders, residents of cities and villages took part in events.
As participants of ceremonies marked, a large-scale work is carried out to improve systems of science and education, which are a basis of development of society in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state. Educational institutions, which are under construction and those, which have been commissioned into operation and provided with latest educational technologies of largest world manufactures in the country, clearly testify to this fact.
So, kindergartens in the residential area of «Parahat-7» for 160 children, in the residential area of Choganly of Bagtyýarlyk etrap for 320 children, along the street Senagat of Buzmeyin etrap – for 320 children, in the residential area of Yasmansalyk of Bagtyýarlyk etrap – for 320 children were opened in Ashgabat. It clearly speaks of the result of boundless care of the state of the growing generation.
In preschool centres all conditions for harmonious education of children, their all-round intellectual development and comfortable rest are created. Game, sleeping, educational classes with convenient and beautiful furniture for various age groups, as well as the language and computer rooms equipped with modern systems of preschool education are provided.
Opening ceremonies of comprehensive schools, accordingly for 960 and 720 children in the residential areas «Parahat-7» as well as Choganly of Bagtyýarlyk etrap in the capital also became unforgettable. The new comprehensive school for 400 children was a fine celebratory gift for inhabitants of village Bekaryk of the gengeshlik of Khojaili in Charjev etrap of Lebap velayat.
The new secondary educational institutions comprise light and spacious classes with convenient furniture and modern equipment. Presence of multimedia and interactive equipment in specialised classes will promote profound study of subjects. Schools provide all conditions for disclosing creative abilities of schoolchildren. With these purposes there were placed rooms for practice of music, sports halls and cultural events, arts and crafts rooms, libraries with manuals and works of art. It is necessary to note that the building of all these objects was carried out by local private enterprises specialising in the field.
Festive events held all over the country on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year serve another evidence a large scale work carried out to support the growing generation connected with its education, upbringing and an all-around development.
Ceremonies of the commissioning of projects of the education systems accompanied by musical performances of actors and creative workers became a national holiday. Participants of celebrations expressed their sincere gratitude to National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Hero Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for care of the growing generation and wishes of sound health and great successes in their many-sided activity for the benefit of the public and prosperity of our beloved fatherland.
