The President of Turkmenistan received the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On April 28, 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Prime minister, Chief of Staff of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev, who arrived in our country to participate in the First Ministerial Forum of the Organization for Economic Cooperation on Sustainable Development.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the time devoted to the meeting and the warm welcome, the guest conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the friendly country noted that he was deeply impressed by the beautiful appearance of the city of Arkadag, and that Kazakhstan is proud of Turkmenistan’s achievements in all areas. The guest also noted the high level of organization of the ECO forum.

Welcoming the guest to the hospitable Turkmen land and thanking him for the kind words, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conveyed return greetings and best wishes to the leadership of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Head of State wished good luck in the successful holding of the forum, constructive discussions and important results that will contribute to the further development of regional cooperation.

During the exchange of views on the current state and prospects of partnership between the two countries, the President of Turkmenistan and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted with satisfaction that today Turkmen-Kazakh relations demonstrate a high level of mutual understanding and strategic partnership based on centuries-old ties of friendship, good neighborliness and common cultural traditions.

Our countries closely interact in the political, trade-economic, cultural- humanitarian spheres, actively strengthening ties in energy, transport and logistics. Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan conduct regular constructive dialogue at the highest and high level, supporting active intergovernmental and interdepartmental interaction.

The guest noted that Kazakhstan supports the constructive, progressive foreign and domestic policy of the Turkmen state, as well as the important international initiatives put forward by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to create transcontinental energy and transport corridors, which are being successfully implemented with the support of the international community.

During the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the land of fraternal Kazakhstan, in ancient Turkestan.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev wished each other good health, well-being, further success in their work, and progress and prosperity to the peoples of the two friendly countries.
