Today, Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, met with Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye. Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for Children," organized on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the Foundation's establishment.

The Vice President for Medical Activities of the Foundation expressed gratitude to Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş for actively participating in the international forum and conveyed warm greetings from the Hero-Arkadag and President of Turkmenistan to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Türkiye.

The guest noted that it was a great honor for her to participate in the high-level international conference held in the homeland and to contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries for the benefit of a bright future for children. She expressed special joy from the warm welcome on Turkmen land. The Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye also praised the beautiful appearance of the city of Arkadag, emphasizing that the opportunities created there are exemplary for the world.

During the exchange of views on the development of Turkmen-Turkish relations, it was noted that Turkmenistan is not only one of the fraternal countries for the Republic of Türkiye but also one of its closest partners. In addition to historical, cultural, and national identity, the countries are connected by common views and goals, as well as in political, economic, cultural, and social spheres.

It was emphasized that due to the targeted policy pursued by the leaders of Turkmenistan and Türkiye, the countries have become strategic partners, and bilateral relations have acquired an exemplary character.

Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş also highlighted the importance of the conference in uniting efforts, noting that it is held during the International Year of Peace and Trust declared by the UN General Assembly on the initiative of Turkmenistan.
