Today, Oguljahan Atabayeva,Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, met with the Ms. Shen Beili, Deputy Chairperson of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of the People's Republic of China, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for Children."

O. Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Foundation, emphasized that in the cooperation between Turkmenistan and China, significant importance is given to the cultural and humanitarian aspect. She also conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping. 

Ms. Shen Beili, Deputy Chairperson of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation, noting the dynamic development of Turkmen-Chinese relations in various fields, including science, education, healthcare, and culture, highlighted the significant personal contribution of the Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to this process. In this context, the guest emphasized the importance of the international forum in developing activities on a global level for the benefit of children.

It was noted that, following the high humanitarian principles of the Turkmen people, great attention is paid in the country to supporting children who have lost their parents and need care. To this end, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship was established in March 2021 on the initiative of the Hero-Arkadag.

Emphasis was placed on the fact that the Foundation actively collaborates with similar structures and authoritative international organizations, including the UN Children's Fund. 

In this context, it was noted that there are great prospects for establishing effective connections between the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of the People's Republic of China.

The Deputy Chairperson of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation expressed support for the noble humanitarian activities of the Charitable Foundation, congratulating on the 4th anniversary of its establishment, and also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the international conference marking this significant date.
