Today, a meeting took place between Oguljahan Atabaeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, and Inna Svyatenko, Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, who arrived in our country to participate in the International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for Children."
Thanking the guest for accepting the invitation to participate in the representative international forum, O. Atabaeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Foundation, emphasized the importance of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia in the fields of science, education, and healthcare. Issues of interstate humanitarian cooperation were discussed during the meeting. A special emphasis was placed on the significant role of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship in strengthening traditional bonds of friendship.
In the course of the conversation, it was noted that the main task of the Foundation is to protect children's health and conduct work aimed at achieving humanitarian goals. In this context, it was emphasized that the activities carried out contribute to ensuring the harmonious development of young Turkmen citizens, allowing them to fully feel the comprehensive care shown to them and take a worthy place in society.
Particular attention was paid to the Foundation's humanitarian aid activities directed to various countries around the world. Specifically, the importance of humanitarian aid provided by the Foundation to children affected by natural disasters in the Primorsky Krai of Russia was highlighted.
