Today, in the capital, solemn events were held dedicated to International Women's Day, widely celebrated in our country. As part of these events, by order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, ceremonies were held to honor mothers who gave birth to and raised eight or more children, who were awarded the honorary title "Ene mähri" in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, and keys to comfortable apartments were handed over to large families.

Modern Turkmen women have a high socio-political status, with their rights and freedoms securely guaranteed by the state. They are active participants in building a democratic, legal and prosperous Motherland, where historical and cultural heritage and achievements of world civilization harmoniously coexist in today's realities.

Having entered the global legal space, Turkmenistan, over the years of independence and neutrality, has ratified and acceded to key international conventions and agreements on human rights. These include the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, the Convention on the Political Rights of Women, the Convention on Equal Remuneration for Men and Women Workers for Work of Equal Value, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and others.

The warmest, sincerest wishes and congratulations on the holiday, words of deep gratitude for maternal tenderness and care, spiritual generosity, and selflessness were addressed to our compatriots. As noted during the ceremonies, the policy of the head of Turkmenistan is aimed at increasing the role of women in state, public, economic life, entrepreneurship, science, art, and sports. A high educational and professional level, initiative, and enterprise have become inherent characteristics of our contemporaries.

Arkadagly Hero Serdar has elevated care for motherhood and childhood, preserving family values to the rank of priorities in the country's development strategy. Practical measures are being taken to improve national legislation in this area, and programs for protecting motherhood and childhood, social support for large families, and others are being successfully implemented.

A significant event in the series of annual festive dedications to women is the ceremony honoring mothers with many children. 

This year, declared the "International Year of Peace and Trust," marking the 30th anniversary of our Motherland gaining the status of permanent neutrality, more than two hundred of our compatriots were awarded the honorary title "Ene mähri" by order of the President of Turkmenistan. This title is a high mark of distinction, a great recognition of the mother's merits before society and the state, and the invaluable contribution of remarkable women to the progress and prosperity of the Motherland.

The commissioning of new buildings and structures on the occasion of widely celebrated holidays in the country has become a noble tradition, which is a vivid testament to Turkmenistan's enormous economic potential and the effectiveness of large-scale reforms in all areas. A clear example of this is the presentation of keys to new apartments in high-comfort houses to large families on the occasion of International Women's Day.

Participants of the ceremonies, on behalf of all women in the country, expressed sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the progressive transformations being implemented, the creation of favorable conditions for a happy life, care for the younger generation, and the preservation and multiplication of high spiritual and moral values in society.

On the eve of International Women's Day, festive events unfolded across the country. Ministries, departments, their structural divisions, institutions, and organizations, as well as enterprises of all forms of ownership held solemn ceremonies to present women with cash gifts from the head of state. Traditionally, these were received by all women without exception, including students, schoolgirls, and preschoolers.

In these spring days, congratulations and warm wishes are heard everywhere, and musical performances by masters of art are held in honor of our female compatriots.
