The 11th issue of the scientific and theoretical journal "Politics and Society", published by the Archival Fund of the President of Turkmenistan of the Main Archival Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, has been published.

The latest issue contains about 20 articles covering the main socio-political events of 2023, which took place under the motto "Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar", the key goals of the state strategy and international activities of Turkmenistan. At the same time, the main attention is paid to the issues of the country's development in the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state and key aspects of the progressive cardinal transformations carried out in the Motherland under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the beginning of which was laid by the Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The issue opens with a publication noting that in the past year, the Turkmen people, in an atmosphere of peace and creativity, in an atmosphere of high spiritual uplift, widely and solemnly celebrated the 32nd anniversary of independence and the 28th anniversary of gaining the legal status of the country's neutrality. At the same time, the magazine provides a brief overview of the achievements of 2023 in all areas. Also,  the emphasis is placed on the main vectors of the state course of Turkmenistan, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and now being implemented by Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

The last year in the modern history of the state was marked by the creation of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the formation of a unicameral Mejlis. This 2024 year, the 300th anniversary of the outstanding philosopher of the East, the Turkmen classical poet Makhtumkuli Fragi is widely celebrated in the country and abroad. In this context, the next issue contains publications about the creative heritage of the great master of the word, which is not only an invaluable national heritage, but also an integral part of the treasury of world culture.

As noted, in the modern era, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan is successfully implementing a policy aimed at the development of science and culture, in which the noble undertakings of the Hero Arkadag have been worthily continued. As a result, the work of the brilliant poet and philosopher is comprehensively and deeply studied on a scientific basis both in our country and far beyond its borders. In addition, the authors of the publications emphasize the universal significance of the heritage of the famous poet, as evidenced by the proclamation by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) of 2024 as the "Year of the Great Poet and Philosopher of the Turkic World – Makhtumkuli Fragi", also the inclusion of a collection of his manuscripts in the International Registry of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) "Memory of the world".

Turkmenistan is a country with a rich historical and cultural heritage, which is rightfully considered the hearth of the ancient civilizations of the East, which made a significant contribution to the development of world culture, also a repository of many mysteries that have not been solved to this day. Evidence of the glorious pages of the history of the Turkmen people are more than one and a half thousand historical and cultural monuments, many of which were and still are archaeological surveys. A series of materials from the next issue is devoted to this topic.
