It has become a good tradition in our country to widely celebrate the Day of Workers of Healthcare and Medical Industry annually. This year, as in previous years, a series of large-scale events are timed to coincide with this significant date.

Among the most important ones is today's opening of the International Health and Rehabilitation Center with 400 beds and the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology with 250 beds in Ashgabat. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, participated in the inauguration ceremonies.

The opening of new facilities, which have enhanced the constantly improving infrastructure of national healthcare, is a clear demonstration of the special attention paid in Turkmenistan to the health of its citizens, whose happiness and well-being are an unconditional priority of the socially oriented policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag and now successfully continued under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

As a result of the consistent implementation of the State Program "Saglyk," chief developer and ideological inspirer of which is the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who has long overseen the healthcare sector, the country's healthcare infrastructure has been expanding in recent years. Its material and technical base has been strengthened, and innovative technologies, along with the best global practices and achievements in medicine, are actively being introduced.
