On September 26, 2024, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the Joint Stock Company «CLAAS» (Germany), the Chairman of the Eastern Committee of German Economy Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser.

Having expressed sincere gratitude for the meeting, the guest congratulated the Head of state on the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, addressing her best wishes to the entire Turkmen people.

The meeting confirmed the desire of the «CLAAS» company to build up fruitful ties with Turkmenistan, where favorable conditions have been created for effective interaction.

Thanking Cathrina Klaas-Mühlhäuser for her congratulations and good wishes, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the results of the current visit would become a good foundation for establishing and further expanding mutually beneficial relations in new areas of mutual interest.

During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the successful cooperation of Turkmenistan with the Eastern Committee of German Economy in expanding trade and economic ties, establishing contacts between business circles, and stimulating investment activity. Continuing on the topic, successful interstate cooperation in industry, agriculture, banking, and transport and communications was emphasized.

In this context, the Turkmen side confirmed its readiness to consider specific proposals from partners from Germany aimed at further mutually beneficial cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of the Joint Stock Company «CLAAS», Head of the Eastern Committee of German Economy Cathrina Claas-Mühlhäuser expressed confidence that the productive bilateral partnership will continue to develop dynamically.
