Today, in the capital's Palace «Maslahat köşgi» under the chairmanship of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan began.

The most important issues of state life, designed to ensure the happiness and well-being of the native people, as well as the further successful advancement of the country along the path of progress and prosperity, were brought up for discussion at the national forum, held on the eve of the celebration of the approaching significant date - the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland.

Following the original national traditions of genuine democracy and democratic norms of modern Turkmen society, representatives of all strata of society and different generations - from student youth to gray-haired elders and respected mothers - were invited to participate in the meeting of the highest representative body of the country.
