Prosperity of our fatherland, maintenance of happy and peaceful life of people – goals of the progressive policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, basic vectors of which are realisation of large scale reforms, augmentation of economic potential of the country and its authority in the world.
On July 22, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting with participation of Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, who supervises agriculture and khyakims of velayats.
The head of the state focused attention on importance of continuation of transportation of gathered crop of wheat from reception points to elevators and warehouses without loss, ploughing of fields cleaned after wheat harvest, preparation of seed material as well as timely settlement of accounts with grain-growers, organisations and enterprises for their work. The President of Turkmenistan instructed to take due measures to complete construction of different projects planned in the Program of social and economic development of the country for 2022-2028 and National rural redevelopment program, the opening of which is planned in the region for the current year, at the high level and in due dates.
That very day in the sports complex of martial combat art of the capital Olympic village celebrations on the occasion of seeing off of the national team of Turkmenistan for the ХХХIII Summer Olympic Games, which will be held from July 26 to August 11 in Paris (France) took place.
Its structure included 19 persons, including six athletes who will act in four sports - judo, weightlifting, swimming and track and field athletics.
The exhibition of achievements of national sportsmen in the international tournaments was also held there.
Today, national sports receive a powerful impulse in the development and attained qualitatively new boundaries. Independent neutral Turkmenistan confidently strengthens its position as sports power and the centre of large competitions of regional and international level.
Under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is an honoured coach of Turkmenistan, a complex work is carried out in our fatherland to encourage and support regularly physical culture and sports, modernise profile infrastructure, create optimum conditions for sportsmen, their instructors and other corresponding experts. Thus, a great significance is given to promotion of fruitful cooperation and mutually beneficial exchange of experience with foreign partners in the given direction.
Being a member of the International Olympic Committee, the Olympic Council of Asia and UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for Physical Education and Sport, Turkmenistan brings a worthy contribution to development of the Olympic movement, realisation of its humanistic principles - consolidation of peace and consent on the planet, friendship between countries and people - at regional and global levels.
On July 23, members of the national team left for participation in the ХХХIII Summer Olympic Games in the city of Paris of the French Republic.
On July 24, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received credentials from newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan Bernd Heinze.
Warmly having greeted the ambassador on the ancient Turkmen land, the President of Turkmenistan sincerely congratulated the diplomat on appointment to an important post, having wished him big successes in his responsible work on further development and strengthening of friendship between our countries.
The telephone conversation took place that very day between National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Hero-Arkadag wished the Uzbek leader happy birthday and wished him sound health, happiness and well-being as well as new successes in his responsible activity for the benefit of the people of the brotherly country.
Having noted personal attention of the President of Uzbekistan to development strategic and good-neighbourhood, Hero-Arkadag expressed his gratitude to the Uzbek leader for his huge contribution to the strengthening of friendship and mutual understanding between two countries. It was pointed out that Turkmen-Uzbek interaction differs with its openness, high level of trust and mutual understanding.
The national Leader of the Turkmen people also conveyed to Shavkat Mirziyoyev warm congratulations with his happy birthday and best regards on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Hero-Arkadag expressed deep conviction that traditionally brotherly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan will develop and deepen consistently henceforth in the spirit of mutually beneficial strategic partnership for the public good.
Throughout the present review we will note that the next issue of the quarterly scientific-applied journal «Democracy and law», prepared for release by the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan was published.
The edition published in Turkmen, English and Russian languages, opens with the congratulatory message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the people of the country on the occasion of Day of the Constitution and National Flag of Turkmenistan.
The present issue of the journal holds the following articles for the attention of its readers: «Cooperation between the European Union and Turkmenistan», «Creativity of Magtymguly Fragi and principles of international cooperation», «Views of Magtymguly Fragi of statehood», «The Caspian sea – sea of peace and friendship», «Neutrality and development of legislation in the sphere of international cooperation», «Perfection of legislation of property in Turkmenistan», «Practice of organisation of public service».
The issue closes with the traditional heading "Chronicles" in which the review of meetings, sessions, seminars and other actions, which have taken place in Ashgabat with participation of representatives of authoritative international organisations.
On July 26, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, in which drafts of some documents and some other issues were discussed.
The meeting of the Government also informed on preparation for the next meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, including its organizational issues connected with definition of its date, creation of the Organizing committee and approval of its structure, drawing up of the agenda and the preliminary program, development of corresponding documents and rendering of organizational-methodical help to velayat, etrap and city Khalk Maslakhaty and others.
At the same time, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised necessity of continuation of development of new laws, which meet requirements of time that acts among important issues of today.
For consideration of the President of Turkmenistan, the proposal on organization of the next 37th meeting of the Consultative Council on Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Population of the CIS Member States was submitted on October 17-18 of the current year in Ashgabat. Having approved it, the head of the state instructed to hold an upcoming international event at high level in Ashgabat.
The issues considered at the meeting of the cabinet of Ministers also included maintenance of «Türkmengaz» State Concern with necessary means for drilling of new wells at the gas deposit «Galkynyş».
With a view of complex development of the agrarian sector of the country, the head of the state instructed to provide fulfilment of established requirements for care of cotton as well as appropriate preparation of ginneries, places of reception and transport.
Besides it, importance of appropriate work on the sowing of grain crops of the next year and planning of fields, maintenance of landowners with high-quality seeds of wheat and agricultural machinery was marked.
At the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan underlined that one of the key issues is development of software according to requirements of time for estimation of cost of civil and erection works conducted in our country, reconstruction and major repairs. With a view of creation of the State information system of price formation in construction, the head of Turkmenistan signed the corresponding Resolution.
Among others discussed issues were preparation for the international exhibition-fair «Kids Expo: all for children!», the procedure of basic events for August of the current year, preparation for the final state round of the competition of gifted children «Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri», dated for the 33rd anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan.
Besides it, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs reported on results of the working visit of the delegation of our country to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
One of the priority vectors of the foreign policy of our fatherland is development of constructive cooperation with states of South Asia. Among them – is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, relations with which bear a traditional-friendly character.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari welcomed the representative delegation of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, issues of development of interstate interaction in political-diplomatic, trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres were considered.
Key directions of bilateral cooperation were also discussed within the negotiations with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif. Thus, an emphasis was made on issues of implementation of large-scale joint projects - buildings of gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India, transmission lines and optic-fibre communication line via Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan.
During the visit, bilateral political consultations at level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs took place. It was stated that Turkmenistan and Pakistan structurally co-operate on platforms of international and regional organisations, rendering mutual support to proposed initiatives and offers. In the given context, the issue, concerning efforts on realisation of the initiative of Turkmenistan on preparation of the Strategy of global security was discussed. The agreement on joint work on the further strengthening of partnership in the United Nations format, OIS, ECO and other authoritative organisations was reached.
The delegation of our country held meetings with leaders of some companies, which included «National Logistics Corporation». Readiness of the company to cooperate with the Turkmen side for automobile transportation via the China-Pakistan-Afghanistan-Turkmenistan and countries of Central Asia and the Caspian region was expressed further.
Proposals on intensification of cooperation in the energy sector, in particular, in the gas branch, were made.
More and more extending interaction in the humanitarian area has a special significance for two countries.
During the meeting, the head of the state signed the Order to send Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the Turkmen-Iranian commission on economic cooperation R.Meredov from the Turkmen party on a working visit to the city of Teheran for participation in the ceremony of inauguration of newly elected President of IRI, which will take place on July 30 of the current year.
Further, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that in our fatherland attaches great attention to development of digital economy, program measures on creation of import replacing manufactures and approved the proposal on adjustment of launch of server equipment for data storage and protection against cyber threats in the country.
On July 27, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the meeting of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) took place. Members of the Government, heads and representatives of profile ministries and departments, public organisations, mass media took part in it.
The report of the National commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO for six months of the current year was heard, the issues connected with preservation, deep study and preservation of monuments of Amul and Akjagala included in the List of the UNESCO World Heritage within the multilateral program «Great Silk road: the Zarafshan-Kara Kum corridor» and others were discussed.
National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty, Honourable elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Arkadag city that very day and he familiarised with drawings and locations of future buildings, breadboard models of new objects planned to be built within the second turn of construction of the city and held a working meeting, at which the course of building of objects and issues, connected with celebrating of significant dates were discussed there.
As was marked, the qualitative construction of objects of different function with use of innovative technologies and front lines expertise, observance of ecological norms, durability and aesthetics are important requirements of time.
Thus, the priority aims of the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State laid down by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov - strategic partnership for universal peace, security and progress, augmentation of economic potential of the country, well-being of Turkmen nationals found due reflection in the events of the past week.
