President of the Republic of Korea Yun Seok-yeol arrived in Turkmenistan. As part of the two-day state visit of the head of the Republic of Korea to Ashgabat, high-level negotiations will take place.

At the International Airport of the Turkmen capital, where the National Flags of the two countries were raised on flagpoles and a guard of honor was formed, the head of the friendly country was met by officials.

According to the established good tradition of hospitality, the distinguished guest was presented with bread and salt and flowers. From the airport, President Yun Sok-Yol proceeded to the residence allocated for the duration of the visit, located in the fashionable capital hotel «Oguzkent».

Building effective relations with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, including the Republic of Korea, which occupies a leading position among the developed countries of the world, is one of the key aspects of the foreign policy strategy of our Fatherland. The main factor in strengthening cooperation with the Republic of Korea is the open and fruitful dialogue established between our countries. Thus, for many years, under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-Arkadag, large-scale work has been carried out to expand productive interstate relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural spheres and through parliaments.
