January will be eventful: from New Year festivities to young talent competition

January will have an action-packed program of events. Until January 10, New Year celebrations for children will be held in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the “Älem” Cultural and Entertainment Center, children’s health centers in Gekdere, and in velayats. Circus artists from the Russian Federation continue giving performance at the State Circus. The cultural events of the month include: a ceremony of awarding the Gulbaba Prize to talented children and children’s groups. On January 16, the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater will host a performance by a song and dance band from China to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. On January 27, festivities will be held to celebrate Motherland Defenders’ Day. Events with the participation of performing artists will be organized during opening ceremonies for newly-built facilities in the capital and velayats.
