Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Dashoguz velayat where he took part in solemnities on the occasion of commissioning of the Balkan-Dashoguz new high-voltage transmission line and two substations of 500 kilovolts each, built on this route within the project of creation of a uniform energy ring of the country.

A significant event of the year «The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi» became an important chapter in the history of development of the national electric energy industry, which is given a key role in the strengthening of power of national economy and successful implementation of government programs in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State by right.

In recent years, the country has carried out large scale work to completely modernise and strengthen the material and technical basis of this key sphere, to develop the reliable power system, which enables not only to provide internal consumers completely, but also constantly to increase volumes and to expand the geography of export of electric power.

So, all regions of our fatherland possess modern gas turbine power stations equipped with advanced technologies from famous world manufacturers, high-voltage transmission lines, distribution substations and the system of power supply of the capital, other cities and settlements has been renovated.

With a view of maintenance of optimum work of local electric systems and electric power redistribution in case of necessity in the necessary direction, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag initiated a large-scale project to create a uniform ring of power supply system of the country.

The energy ring should provide reliability of the local power network at the expense of mutual reservation between power supply systems of velayats and Ashgabat thanks to what it is possible to make repair and modernisation of power units, electric substations, and transmission lines without bad effect on consumers.

An increase in the reserves of power capacities will allow delivering regularly the electric power made by power stations of the country to local consumers and a surplus potion - abroad, first of all, to neighbouring countries.

Construction of the Akhal-Balkan high-voltage overhead electric power line, which was successfully commissioned in October of 2021, became the first stage of realisation of this project of national and international significance.

The Mary-Akhal high-voltage transmission line, construction of which was completed within short terms, was put into operation in November of 2023.

And today the third link of the power ring of the country - Balkan-Dashoguz new high-voltage transmission line is put into operation.

In the morning, the plane of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the International airport of Dashoguz, whence the head of the state headed by car towards the place of solemn ceremony.

In honour of this significant event, the Chairwoman of the Mejlis, Deputy-Chairmen of the Cabinet, heads of military and law enforcement bodies, ministries and departments of the country, khyakim of Dashoguz velayat as well as representatives of wide public gathered there.

They welcome with great enthusiasm Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

Inspiring music-dancing compositions performed by workers of culture and arts increase joy of the prevailing festive atmosphere.

The head of the state passes into the hall specially designed for the solemn ceremony.

Addressing the gathered, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that today Balkan-Dashoguz new high-voltage transmission line and substations are put into operation in Dashoguz velayat with a view of connection of the power supply system of the country into a uniform power grid.

Today, a solemn commissioning of modern apartment houses built in Dashoguz city of Dashoguz velayat will also take place. Today, 200 new modern passenger buses that will allow providing the population of Dashoguz velayat with high-quality service will be given as gift, the head of the state said and warmly congratulated all with this significant event.

It was pointed out that according to the power energy policy of the country, the work on reliable and uninterrupted maintenance of local consumers with electric power, diversification of delivery of Turkmen electric power to foreign consumers, creation of new power capacities, improvement of technical condition of distribution systems, connection of the operating national power supply system into the uniform power grid is carried out.

In the present period, Turkmenistan carries on a large-scale work started by Hero-Arkadag to develop the power energy sector.

The work on development of the power energy sector is successfully carried out on the basis of the Program «Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State: National Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052» as well as Programs of social and economic development of the country in 2022-2028.

As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined, according to Programs, it is planned to transform power stations operating in the country into combined cycle power plants and to construct new combined power stations.

Today, construction of a combined power station with a capacity of 1574 megawatts is carried out in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat.

With a view of increase in volumes and routes of delivery of Turkmen energy carriers to foreign countries, the civil-engineering design of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan transmission line is successfully realised.

According to requirements of the time, the material and technical basis of power energy sector grows stronger. Modern technologies are introduced into manufacture, volumes of electric power consistently increase.

The commissioning of the Centre for repair and maintenance of power equipment in the Buzmeyin etrap of Ashgabat opened ample opportunities for uninterrupted functioning of power stations.

The great attention is given to manufacture of renewed power resources in the country. Today, construction of the multi-purpose solar and wind power plant is at its final stage in Balkan velayat that will allow to provide new modern villages built in the region with clean electric power, Arkadagly Hero Serdar added and pointed out that in the long term our independent country will continue a lareg scale work on use of renewed energy sources.

In the speech of the head of the state, it was marked that the task of creation of the power grid system was put forward with a view of distribution of power capacities of the country between regions, achievement of optimum performance of transmission lines. In this direction, an effective work is carried out.

As a result of indefatigable work of Turkmen power builders, construction of the section of Akhal-Balkan, which was the first sate of the given project, was fulfilled in 2021. The second turn of the project - the site of Mary-Akhal was put in operation in 2023.

In the year «The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi» the third stage of this project, in particular, the Balkan-Dashoguz line was put into operation. Within the given stage, substations "Balkan" and «Dashoguz» of 500 kilovolt each were constructed.

- Implementation of the project to connect the power supply system of the country into a uniform power grid – a significant event in the history of power energy sector of independent Turkmenistan, - President Serdar Berdimuhamedov especially underlined.

The uniform ring power supply system that will promote uninterrupted maintenance of local consumers with electric power as well as delivery of electric power to foreign states from various corners of our country was developed with successful realisation of this project in the country, the head of the state said, having expressed warm gratitude to hardworking Turkmen power builders for successful embodiment of this significant project into life.

Addressing participants of the celebration, the President of Turkmenistan drew the attention to the fact that consecutive increase of social standard of living of people acts as one of the primary goals. In this direction, a program work is carried out. Modern, comfortable apartment houses and social projects are put into operation.

new apartment houses built in Dashoguz city of Dashoguz velayat provide all conditions for comfortable life. In the long term, the program activity on increase of social standard of living of people will be continued.

Once again warmly having congratulated with the commissioning of Balkans-Dashoguz high-voltage transmission line and new substations and therewith, connection of the power supply system of the country into the uniform power ring as well as with the commissioning of a new complex of apartment houses and modern passenger buses presented as gift, head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the gathered sound health, family well-being and big successes in their activity.

Then, on the big monitor, a specially prepared video film with presentation of the substations serving for transformation and distribution of electric power as well as the new overhead electricity transmission line which connected Dashoguz and Balkan velayats was shown.

It is remarkable that local power builders who have gained a wide experience for years of state independence carried out construction of the 572 km long Balkan-Dashoguz high voltage power transmission line.

The route, which passes through the Kara Kum, made special demands to quality of carried out work. Thanks to the help from the Government construction and installation works at that site were completed in a short period of time.

The construction of substations "Balkan" and «Dashoguz» of 500 kilovolts each as well as high-voltage transmission lines which connect them marked itself completion of the final stage of building of the uniform ring power supply system of the country.

On completion of display of the video film the floor was given to foreign visitors who handed the Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan international certificates confirming high quality of the equipment and works on construction of the uniform ring power supply system.

The first floor was given to the Adviser at Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology (Federal Republic of Germany), Professor, Dr Harald Apel.

Having expressed his deep gratitude for the invitation to take part in today's significant event, the guest underlined that successful construction of the high voltage power transmission line and substations under difficult conditions of the  Kara Kum desert speaks of the fact that workers of the sector with honour have coped with the responsible tasks set before them.

Handing the certificate of quality of technologies, used in construction of the ring power system, Harald Apel wished the President of Turkmenistan big successes in his large-scale activity to promote energy diplomacy.

Senior teacher of State University "Duisburg-Essen" (Germany) Bernd Reinhold Rosin , having thanked for the given possibility to take part in today's celebration, expressed admiration of achievement of independent Turkmenistan successfully realising so large scale projects and with pride handed the certificate of high efficiency of engineering works on creation of the ring power supply system.

Then, the floor was given to Regional Director of Institute DEKRA (Germany) Mrs. Julia Otto.

Having thanked for the invitation to visit Turkmenistan and to take part in the present ceremony, the guest underlined that news about creation of the ring power system in independent Turkmenistan caused a great interest in the German Research Institute "DEKRA", which is a member of the Energy Charter and gives particular attention to quality of technologies, used at the energy projects, built worldwide.

Handing the certificateof high technologies and safety of substations in the ring power network, J.Otto wished the head of Turkmenistan sound health and long years of life.

Having left the hall of conference upon completion of the official part of the ceremony, the head of the state handed the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat keys to   new buses, presented to residents of the northern region on the occasion of the present significant event.

Having expressed on behalf of happy residents of the velayat his sincere gratitude for the presented new modern buses, the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat wished President Serdar Berdimuhamedov as well as National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag sound health, longevity and successes in all their undertakings for public cause and our native fatherland.

Under solemn conditions, to the noisy applause of the gathered, the head of the state cuts a symbolic ribbon.

Arkadagly Hero Serdar headed to the place where the work of substations and the new overhead electricity transmission line of 500 kilovolts were launched into operation.

On his way, the head of the state examined the modern equipment established at substation "Dashoguz".

The head of the state also familiarised with results of accepted measures on modernisation of the national energy sector.

Then, a young employee who told of the uniform ring power supply system created in the country greeted the President of Turkmenistan.

He expressed deep gratitude to head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag on behalf of power engineers of the country for constant attention to issues of development of power energy sector and care of its workers.

At the same time, song-music performances of workers of culture and art were organized within the festive events in Bereket etrap of Balkan velayat.

A young employee from the western region by the digital system requests the head of the state to bless the start of work of the Balkan-Dashoguz high voltage power transmission line and substations constructed on this route.

He expressed to the head of the state on behalf of all workers of the sector a deep gratitude for construction of the high-voltage power transmission line and creation of all conditions for implementation of the exceptionally important project, implementation of which allowed Turkmenistan to be the first among the countries of Central Asia to create a uniform ring power supply system, which will raise reliability of power supply of consumers.

There comes the culmination point – by pressing the button President Serdar Berdimuhamedov launches the new overhead power transmission line and two substations into operation.

On the screen, the process of their connection to the integrated power grid of Turkmenistan at once is displayed.

Thus, the commissioning of new important projects of the power energy sector – high voltage power transmission line-500 Balkan-Dashoguz and two substations - marked successful completion of the grandiose project on creation of the uniform power ring,  which have become one more man-made symbol of the economic power of independent neutral Turkmenistan.

On completion of the celebration, the head of the state warmly said goodbye to participants of the ceremony and left the place.
