Welcoming considerable progress achieved in every sphere of the national economy, the revival of ancient traditions and the rich national experience of the Turkmen people, R.M. Durdyev in his Keynote Statement has stressed that to ensure prosperity of our state what is above all needed is consolidation of the society, unity of the nation, and the creative work of the people, for concord, peace and integrity are the source of our victories. To promote further upward advance of the country’s economy, special attention will be paid to the introduction of innovation technologies, advanced achievements of science and engineering. Construction of automobile and railway roads, gas mains and power transmission lines will be continued. Besides, together with the interested parties, we will study the opportunities of diversifying the Turkmen natural gas supply routes to foreign markets. We will undertake large-scale works in the future for successful unleashing of the huge economic and natural potential for the prosperity of the present and future generations of the Turkmen people. We will define the perspective ways and routes of energy resources supply to the world’s markets. We will continue developing of the scores of the country’s richest natural treasuries of the country. It is planned to improve the exploitation of the existing and new gas mains. “The Turkmenistan’s Oil and Gas Industry Development Program until 2030” envisages a several-times-increase of production and processing of oil and gas. We are planning to improve the work of this sector branch in the future. We will continue exploration of the onshore hydrocarbon reserves, as well as the development of oil and gas deposits in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea. We will create a perfect infrastructure of the piped system, different facilities and communications of the oil and gas complex. Oil processing industry, development of oil, gas and chemical branches are the priority directions of this sphere. Implementation of all these plans will become the main direction of the internal policy of our country. Our key target will be continuation of active construction of the villages and cities, new comfort living houses in different regions of the country. Special attention will be paid to the development of education, public health and culture spheres. We will continue rapid construction of schools and kindergartens, high and secondary educational institutions, new hospitals, resort and sanatorium complexes, social and cultural facilities provided with modern equipment. We will build water purifying facilities and pipelines for supply clean drinking water to the population. We will keep going the process of giving mortgage loans for those who wish to buy an apartment or to build a private house. We will increase the loans to construction organizations for building residential houses. We will steadily implement the programs of construction of social and living facilities in the cities, villages and rural areas. We will even more strengthen the material-technical base of the agricultural complex; create every condition for the fruitful work and high yields of agricultural production, improving our welfare by selfless work. Together with production of wheat and cotton, we will activate construction of hothouses, livestock and poultry complexes. Large attention will be paid to the output increase of vegetables and cucurbitaceous cultures. Special accent will be made on the import substitution, increasing at the same time the volumes of export-oriented production. We will increase financing of capital needs of the agricultural complex, including the development of virgin lands, increase of water reservoirs outputs, procurement of necessary agricultural equipment and chemicals for plant protection. Seed farming, selection and introduction of new technologies are also the key targets of the branch. We will keep rendering the government support to the private sector of the economy - small and medium-size entrepreneurship, extending soft loans to the private businesses. One of our most important task is in: the development of sports and Olympic movement; active involvement of the youth into sports; instilling in the inhabitants of Turkmenistan the wish from childhood to go in for sports and physical training, to lead healthy life-style, to master working practices and reveal their creative opportunities. Unleashing of the country’s all tourist potential, advancing the travel industry, creating modern and high-quality conditions for tourists, and economic improvement of that sphere will be the leading course of the tourism industry policy. We will increase construction of health centers and high-class hotels in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”. Propaganda of recreational capabilities of our country for increasing the incoming flow of foreign tourists is to be our main objective. We will continue protection of the rights of the citizens, which are guaranteed by the Constitution of Turkmenistan, for: practicing the scientific and inventive activity; purchasing comfortable apartment houses; starting a family; getting education, medical services, employment and rest, etc. These objectives ensue from the systematic increase of our population’s income, wages and salaries, pensions, scholarships, public welfare payments, maintenance of social benefits and material support of the family. We will assist in privatization of the apartments by the citizens, in direct privatization and free providing of accommodations from the country’s housing resources. We will work diligently for the sake of our people, for consolidation of the state’s power and further increase of our beloved Motherland’s global name recognition. It is my firm belief that the voters participating in the presidential Elections will vote for the candidate who will keep going the work for further prosperity of our Motherland.
