Today, the VI Conference of Judges of Turkmenistan was held in the "Adalat" Palace to discuss priority tasks of further improvement of the activities of the country's judicial authorities. The forum was attended by representatives of the Supreme Court, the Arbitration Court, judges of velayat, city and etrap courts.

The speakers noted that in the present era, under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as a result of the implemented democratic reforms, progress is being made in various areas of the legal sphere. It was emphasized that Turkmenistan guarantees social protection for its people, providing necessary support and creating favorable conditions for a free and dignified life of every citizen.

It was emphasized that the country's judicial authorities protect the rights and freedoms of Turkmenistan citizens, as well as the state and public interests protected by law. All activities in this field are aimed at maintaining legality and order, eliminating the causes and conditions that led to violations of the law.

Special attention at the conference was given to the practical steps taken to implement the tasks defined in the "Program for the Development of the Judicial System of Turkmenistan for 2022-2028", approved by the Decree of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on July 5, 2022. According to the document, specific measures are being implemented to improve the principles of justice and judicial proceedings, ensure impartial and independent judicial decisions in accordance with national legislation and universally recognized norms of international law. Great importance is also attached to enhancing the professionalism and legal culture of the personnel of the judicial authorities.

Among the topics discussed were the prospective plans for the implementation of measures envisaged in the Concept of Development of the Digital Economy for 2019-2025. In this context, emphasis was placed on the importance of active implementation of the digital system in the activities of the judicial authorities in accordance with the requirements of the time, as well as providing modern technical means.

At the end of the forum, relevant decisions were adopted.

The participants of the VI Conference of Judges of Turkmenistan expressed their immense gratitude to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, for creating conditions for the effective functioning of the judicial system.
