The IV International Festival "Theater Art of the Age of Happiness", was inaugurated today in the Turkmen capital. 

This great festival of theater art, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, united delegations from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey. These are teams of renowned drama, music, and youth theaters, as well as experts in stage art and theater critics.

Turkmenistan, as the initiator of global progressive transformations, successfully utilizes the opportunities of cultural diplomacy in its policy to promote broad cooperation and strengthen international reputation. This includes the exchange of ideas, information, values, traditions, beliefs, and other aspects of culture that can contribute to improving mutual understanding.

It is worth noting that mutual dialogue between national cultures and civilizations holds special significance for the political, economic, and cultural convergence of continents. Culture serves as a unique bridge that unites different peoples and nations, as the language of culture is accessible and understandable without translation. Creative festivals and cultural events, including theater and film festivals, Days of Culture of different countries, international exhibitions and fairs, have become symbols of friendship and mutual understanding.

These events are held to develop cultural relations, popularize, understand and enrich the values of peoples. This is the only way to preserve the continuity of the best traditions of centuries-old intercultural dialog.
