This Certificate confirms that Turkmenistan has achieved regional targets for combating hepatitis B through immunization. The document highlights that this achievement is of great significance for the fulfillment of the goal of eliminating viral hepatitis as a public health threat in the entire European region.
As emphasized by conference participants, the impressive successes in our country's healthcare sector are the tangible results of a well thought-out socially-oriented policy initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and currently being consistently implemented by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The key focus of this visionary strategy, with its fundamental principle of "The State is for the People!", is the all-round concern for the welfare of people of Turkmenistan.
The State Program "Saglyk" and several other national programs are aimed to addressing important tasks in this direction. The extensive work carried out within their implementation has been highly appreciated by the international community, including the United Nations and its leading agencies such as WHO, UNDP, UNICEF, and others. The international certificates awarded to Turkmenistan and its medical institutions in different years are a clear proof of this.
It was noted that due to the transformations initiated by the Hero-Arkadag, our country has established a modern infrastructure of healthcare system. Medical centers, specialized clinics, sanatoriums provided with the latest equipment and advanced technologies have been built in the capital and regions, and new specialized facilities are being constructed. This provides Turkmenistan citizens with access to a wide range of high-quality medical and health services that comply with international standards. A new impetus has also been given to the development of the domestic medical industry.
By consistently implementing the strategy of reducing the population's disease rate, our country now holds a leading position in the region in terms of immunization levels.
In the epoch of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, comprehensive work in this direction continues systematically under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
It was emphasized that by strengthening and expanding fruitful interaction with foreign partners, Turkmenistan makes a concrete contribution to the development of constructive cooperation in this field at the regional and global levels, effective use of mechanisms of medical diplomacy.
The result of a long-standing positive partnership with the WHO and UN agencies is the implementation of joint projects and programs in various areas of healthcare. In this context, special attention is paid to the implementation of innovative methods for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease, as well as the mutually beneficial exchange of experiences, deepening of scientific research activities, and the training of highly qualified specialists. At the same time, great importance is attached to strengthening the principles of a healthy and active lifestyle in society. All necessary conditions, including the required infrastructure, have been created in Turkmenistan for practicing various sports activities.
