The ceremony of laying flowers to the monument to first President of Turkmenistan S.A. Niyazov, which was erected on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, took place in the 10 Years of Independence Park in Ashgabat.  The monument stands as a symbol of the Turkmen people’s gratitude and respect to the state activity of the first President of Turkmenistan, who significantly contributed to laying the foundation for independence of our country. In a matter of minutes, the marble slabs were covered with a bright fragrant carpet – a symbol of the deep respect to the first President of Turkmenistan.
