The President of Turkmenistan noted the need to intensify partnerships with foreign financial institutions

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, noted the need to intensify cooperation with foreign financial institutions.

The head of state emphasized the need to effectively use the opportunities of foreign investment, to establish coordinated, comprehensive work to improve the competitiveness of the national economy and increase investment volumes.

«It is necessary to significantly intensify cooperation with foreign countries and international financial institutions, namely, with the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Islamic Development Bank, and hold joint investment and business forums», –said the head of Turkmenistan.
