Today, as part of a working visit to Dushanbe, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of developing bilateral cooperation in various fields, as well as vectors for expanding interaction in the Central Asian region.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as part of his working visit to Dushanbe, will take part in the fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, as well as in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the founders of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

The current working visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Dushanbe confirms our country’s intention to continue to promote the intensification of interstate dialogue on a bilateral and multilateral basis, and the consolidation of efforts in order to ensure common well-being and sustainable development.
