The Head of state proposed to hold the First Investment Forum of the countries of Central Asia and the Gulf in Turkmenistan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at the Jeddah Summit, emphasized the need to expand trade ties and consistently increase the volume of mutual trade turnover between the Central Asian and Gulf states.

"In order to achieve these goals, we propose to discuss the creation of the Chamber of Commerce of the Central Asian countries and the Gulf Cooperation Council," the Head of state said.

According to the Turkmen leader, there are great prospects for investment partnership, and Turkmenistan is always open to cooperation in the implementation of investment projects in priority sectors of the economy.

"In this regard, we propose to organize the First Investment Forum of countries of Central Asia and the Gulf Cooperation Council in Turkmenistan in 2024," the President of Turkmenistan said.
