Today, the Turkmen capital hosts the final events of the Culture Week, dedicated to the Day of Culture and Art Workers, as well as poetry of Magtymguly Fraghi, widely celebrated in our country.
The festivities of the Week-ending day began in the square near the Magtymguly monument, which is located in the historical center of Ashgabat, on one of the main thoroughfares of the capital – the avenue named after the great classic. The ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the brilliant philosopher and sage of the East took place here – in recognition and admiration for his poetic genius.
Flower-laying ceremonies at the monument to Magtymguly were also held today in all corners of our country.
The venue for the final event of the Week of Culture–2023 was the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center, where a concert of masters of arts took place. The festive program was opened by the inspired song “Gahryman Siz, Arkadag!”, praising the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Numerous spectators applauded the magnificent musical numbers, each of which was presented in the form of a small performance, as well as folklore productions, which reflected the original traditions of the Turkmen people. The concert program organically combined ancient destans and works of modern authors, as well as dances of representatives of all velayats.
Visual choreographic images of interchangeably successive stage productions were brilliantly recreated by the Galkynyş, Laçyn, Meñli, Miras, Serpaý, Aşgabat, and other groups.
The number “Türkmen toýy” brought a special intonation to the festive action. Performed by folklore and dance groups from the regions of the country, the ancient kushtdepdi dance personified the unity of the people, and its creative inspiration.
Colorful national costumes, symbolizing the values of the cultural heritage of our people and its age-old traditions, gave the performances a special flavor. Plot videos served as a bright addition to the creative numbers.
At the end of the concert, the soloists and all its participants performed the song “Bagtly biz Siz bilen, Arkadagly Serdarym!”, which sounded as the anthem of the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state – the era of large-scale progressive transformations, the true flowering of national culture. The monitors displayed footage reflecting the creative pace of modernity, and the successes of representatives of Turkmen art.
The bright program of the final concert of the Culture Week–2023 is a solemn ode to the great power of art, uniting and inspiring the Turkmen people under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for new labor victories and creative achievements.
