A new book “Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship”, published by the Press Center of the Turkmen State Publishing Service in Turkmen, English and Russian, is devoted to this important topic.

Its pages tell in detail about the activities of the Foundation, created on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan in March 2021. Since its establishment, the Foundation, which, according to the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, has been named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has been carrying out a lot of effective work, the main purpose of which is to take care of our young citizens who have lost parental care and need special social support.

The new book published in the year, the motto of which is “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”, will certainly arouse the interest of a wide readership. It includes a number of chapters: “Prosperity has its own conditions”, “The giver’s hand will not be impoverished”, “The value of life is health”, “Guardianship is the light of hope”, “Guardianship generates cohesion”, each of which is devoted to a separate topic.

The Charitable Foundation regularly allocates funds to carry out the necessary surgical operations and procedures for children in need of guardianship in medical institutions of the capital and regions of the country, as well as to pay for the costs of treatment and the purchase of appropriate medical supplies for young Turkmen citizens who are brought up and trained in orphanages, specialized schools and boarding schools. The pages of the book contain a number of concrete examples of restoring the health of our little compatriots, and also express deep gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag for his concern for the well-being and happiness of the younger generation.

In addition, the Foundation decided to allocate Ambulances equipped with specialized technology to pediatric departments of hospitals in etraps and velayat towns of Turkmenistan, which were transferred to their intended destination.

The book also notes the fact of the construction of a Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in the new city of Arkadag. This Center, which is a whole children’s town, provides everything necessary for the upbringing, training, health promotion and recreation of children. At the same time, it is emphasized that the fosterlings of such health-improving educational and auxiliary institutions operating both in the capital and in the regions of the country are constantly in the field of vision of the Charitable Foundation.

Our country has in fact demonstrated its commitment to the basic principles of the United Nations in the sphere of children’s rights and interests. The policy implemented by Turkmenistan in this area has been approved and supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Thus, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship symbolizes the triumph of the humanistic principles of the nation, which are the foundation of the modern Turkmen state and society.

An excellent addition to the content of the new book, published at a high polygraphic level, are numerous color photo illustrations that allow to get a visual presentation of the Foundation’s activities, which embodies the continuity of the primordial spiritual and moral values of our people, passed down from generation to generation.
