The 15th edition of the "Chronicle of Great Achievements" reflects the chronicle of events of 2021, the multifaceted state activity of Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, fully aimed at the prosperity of the country, well-being of the Turkmen people and progressive reforms, implemented in our country.
The epigraph to the book is a statement of Hero-Arkadag that accurately and completely reflects the content of the publication: "In a historically short period of development on the path of great independence Turkmenistan has become a self-sufficient state, which gained great respect and authority in the world. Independence allowed us to realize the aspirations of our courageous ancestors for a sovereign Homeland. During this period, there was laid a solid foundation of our democratic, law-based and secular state".
The book opens with an overview and analytical preface "The Policy of creation is the basis of achievements", which thoroughly highlights the issues of improving the state-legal and political system of society, innovative and industrial development of the national economy, improving the welfare of the people, reforming the spheres of education, science, culture, healthcare, sports and tourism, strengthening the country's position in the international arena.
The new edition widely presents the panorama of the most important events of 2021. Based on the official materials of the State News Agency (TDH), there are summaries of the working visits of the Hero-Arkadag to velayats, meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers, State Security Council, video conference calls, meetings of the Mejlis, as well as the review of the adopted Laws of Turkmenistan, Decrees, Resolutions and Orders of the President. The stated facts illustrate all-round progress of the Motherland, increase of its economic potential, scientific and technical achievements and industrial successes, renewal of spiritual life of the society.
There are presented materials on the formation of a worldview culture in Turkmen society based on an organic combination of national and universal spiritual values to a wide readership.
The chronicle of events of the year 2021, held under the motto "Turkmenistan is the Homeland of Peace and Trust", also reflects the key aspects of the foreign policy of independent neutral Turkmenistan, which conditioned its growing prestige in the international arena. The numerous meetings at the highest level, business negotiations, representative forums, cultural events and other significant events are vivid evidence of the successes of our country's foreign policy.
The new edition of the book, distinguished by a solid factual base and content, will allow readers to better understand the essence and goals of the progressive political strategy initiated by the Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The publication will also become a scientific reference source for scientists-historians and local historians, teachers at universities, specialized secondary educational institutions and secondary schools, activists of party and public organizations, a training manual for students and pupils and in general a useful tool for all those interested in the life of modern Turkmenistan. At the same time, it is of great importance in terms of broad popularization of socio-political knowledge among the population, especially among young people.
The chronicle of the events of 2021, prepared for print by the Archival Fund of the President of Turkmenistan of the Main Archival Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, has been published in separate books in Turkmen and Russian.
