Following the talks between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of PRC Xi Jinping, held in the Chinese city of Xi'an on the first day of the working visit of the head of Turkmenistan to China, a package of bilateral documents was signed.
In the presence of the heads of state, important documents related to the Turkmen-Chinese cooperation were signed. In particular, they directly relate to the interaction of customs structures, cooperation of the media, as well as contacts between the political parties of the two countries.
It should be mentioned that these agreements complement a solid package of documents previously signed at the highest official level in January this year during the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Beijing.
At the end of the ceremony of signing bilateral documents, the heads of state expressed satisfaction with the results of the negotiations and reaffirmed the commitment of the parties to further deepen the full-scale strategic partnership in the interests of Turkmenistan and China.
