In the past week, the country widely and solemnly celebrated the national holiday of the Turkmen racer, which brightly reflected unity and cohesion of our society, invariable adherence of the present generation to high cultural values of our ancestors. Legendary Akhal-Teke horses, which are a subject of special pride, national property of people, an ornament of the state emblem of the country, became today an embodiment of that creative energy from which the fatherland under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov reaches enormous successes in is development.

The issues connected with the course of agricultural campaigns as well as with development of regions, were considered at the online working meeting, which the head of the state held on April 24.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused the attention on importance of observance of agricultural standards in cotton sowing, care of wheat, potato, onions and other crops.

Separate instructions concerned fulfilment of the plan of silkworm cocoons, preventive measures for control of agricultural pests, rational use of water resources.

On April 28, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the next online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the agenda of which included a number of pressing issues of state policy.

Among them - preparation of drafts of the state budget, basic areas of social and economic development and investment program for 2024.

Along with it, at the meeting the course of seasonal agricultural campaigns, issues of withdrawal of the subordinate enterprises of Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern and other industrial complexes of industrial and building sectors to their designed capacity and increase in the potential of the national power industry were discussed.

Preparation of the project of our national pavilion at the World Expo-2025, the motto of which is “creation of future society for our life” as well as celebrations on the occasion of the national holiday of the Turkmen racer and the program of basic events and the opening of social projects planned for May was informed.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution according to which, the national program for maintenance of healthy well-being of population in Turkmenistan for 2023-2028 and the Plan of actions for its realisation, the structure of the Interdepartmental coordination commission for realisation of the national program were approved .

On April 26, in the capital the XIII forum of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association took place.

The Turkmen people have gained the richest experience, which is nowadays effectively involved in combination with new technologies in the horse-breeding branch. The unique breed of horses, which played a huge role in formation of world horse breeding, deserves a deep scientific study.

At the forum Decrees of the President of Turkmenistan on conferral on local  and foreign horse breeders the honorary title «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan atşynasy» were read.

According to the decision of the Board of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association, new members are admitted into its membership.

The exhibition, where products of graphic, arts and crafts, carpet and jeweller art, and photos devoted to "heavenly" racers were displayed, was timed to the forum.

On April 27, in the horse-racing complex of Dashoguz velayat, which was fully renovated after large scale reconstruction, the  opening of horse races season, which was held in turn in different regions of the country took place.

Wonderful horses with their unique beauty, force and playfulness during races fully demonstrated their best during races - among jockeys-juniors, adult jockeys and jockeys-instructors from all velayats and Ashgabat city.

In the final horserace for the main prize of the President of Turkmenistan - the car «Toyota Land Сruiser» - jockeys-instructors competed on racers drawn by a lot.

In the solemn atmosphere, valuable prizes and cash gifts were handed to winners of festive races.

On April 29 with the assistance of President Serdar Berdimuhamedova the solemn opening of a horse complex of military men and law enforcement bodies in Ak bugday etrap and also ceremonies of awarding of winners of the International competition «Ýylyň iň owadan ahalteke bedewi» and thematic competition among representatives of creative trades took place.

Getting acquainted with new buildings, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country visited soldier's barracks where everything is provided for a full-fledged life and rest of young soldiers, and also educational offices and a dining room.

Following a noble tradition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov tied alaja woven by his mother Ogulgerek eje on the neck of the racer by name Akganat as a symbol-talisman and a sign of worthy continuation by efforts of Arkadagly Serdar of national customs, which exist from time immemorial.

After a solemn march of horse groups of Ministries of Defence, Internal Affairs, the State Border Service on racetracks of the new complex competitions among equestrians-instructors of military and law-enforcement structures of the country took place and the winner of the main prize received keys to the car of mark “Toyota Camry” on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.

The final of the International competition «Ýylyň iň owadan ahalteke bedewi» became one of the high points of festive events. The most beautiful Akhal-Teke racer of 2023 had been recognised a magnificent horse of Goshasakar from the Akhal-Teke horse complex of the President of Turkmenistan, descendant Garashsyz and Sulgun belonging to the glorious family tree of line of Gyrsakar, born in 2015. Its seyis on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedova received the main prize - keys to the car of mark “Toyota Fortuner SR 5”, and also a challenge cup and the diploma.

Prizes on behalf of the head of the state were also given to winners of creative competition in artistic realisation of the image of the Turkmen racer in products of graphic and arts and crafts, in publishing production, pictures and on TV channels.

The main celebrations in honour of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse were held on April 30 in the International Akhal-teke horse-racing complex with participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Costly presents, large sums of money and diplomas were presented to all winners of races. Besides, the leader of final racecourse received the main prize of races – the prize “Akhan” and the challenge cup of the President of Turkmenistan.

Events on the occasion of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse were held all over the country. The program included concerts, exhibitions, literary-musical and poetic evenings, celebrations of horse breeders and seyis.

In the past week at n the instructions of the head of the state, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, in which course a number of meetings where issues of realisation of joint projects and exchange of experience for the purpose of increase of efficiency of the Turkmen-German dialogue and definition of new directions of partnership were discussed, took place.

Within the framework of his visit, Hero-Arkadag visited the Horse-breeding complex of Germany where he was familiarised with features of maintenance of horses and shared national methods of cultivation and training of world famous Akhal-teke horses. At the same time, the attention was paid to issues of perfection of activity of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association and horse-breeding branch as a whole.

In conversation with heads and experts of the Horse-breeding complex of Germany Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov told about unique features of exterior of Akhal-Teke horses. As Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan noted, at present, there where the glorified breed of horses has arisen, a new city with the monument established in the centre to the legendary racer Akhan - to the world record-holder was constructed. The building of the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annayev, Research, and Production Centre of Horse Breeding, State Horse Circus named after Gorogly in the new city testifies to huge attention given in our country to "winged" horses.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people invited German experts to take part in the celebrations dated for the opening of the city of Arkadag.

Having given as gift to the management of the complex the books devoted to "heavenly" horses, Hero-Arkadag pointed out that these works contain products extensive data on the origin and history of Akhal-Teke racers, technique of their education, training and preparation for jumps, centuries-old experience of Turkmen horse breeders in the field.

Among other events of the past week - the international vising forum on attraction of foreign investments into the oil and gas branch of Turkmenistan that took place in the city of Dubai of the United Arab Emirates. Among its participants - heads and representatives of both domestic oil and gas sector, and famous foreign business structures, financial institutions, authoritative international organisations, and also leading experts of profile companies.

The past week also witnessed replenishment of the air fleet "Türkmenistan" with the second cargo plane Airbus A330-200P2F.

The Turkmen airlines became first in Central Asia to have these liners, which are optimised for transportation of cargoes of various configuration for long distances. The range of their flight makes more than 13 thousand kilometres, load-carrying capacity - to 60 tons. In the navigating equipment and electronic "stuffing" of planes, the most advanced solutions are used. Pilots and experts in maintenance service cargo Airbus A330-200P2F have passed retraining in Singapore and France.

Thus, the past week was filled by important events, testifying that in Turkmenistan which is attached to primordial national traditions, today under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, large-scale programs and projects, called to provide the further development of all spheres of life of the country, its economic progress, increase of well-being of people are implemented dynamically and confidently.
