Negotiations between the President of Turkmenistan and the Emir of Qatar began in Doha

Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is in Qatar on a state visit, met in Doha with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

After the official meeting ceremony, the heads of friendly countries hold talks in an expanded format with the participation of delegations.

During the meeting, special attention will be paid to key issues, including strengthening the legal framework for bilateral partnership, developing inter-parliamentary relations and improving interaction between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

Also, during the Turkmen-Qatari high-level talks, it is planned to discuss the issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

After negotiations in an expanded composition of delegations, the meeting will continue in a «one-on-one» format.

Following the talks between the heads of the two states, a solemn ceremony of signing bilateral documents is planned.
