Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system, which was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex A. Yazmyradov and the khyakims of velayats. The agenda included the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the country and implementation of the National Rural Program. 

First, the floor was given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

As was reported, wheat crops are cared these days, in particular, mineral fertilizers are applied and irrigation is under way, fields are planned for spring sowing of cotton within agro-technical deadlines.

All machinery and units are fully prepared for the spring sowing of cotton. Onion planting has been completed, and its crops are cared for. Potato planting continues in accordance with agro-technical standards.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the timely and high-quality completion of all agricultural activities is the requirement of the present day.

Then Balkan velayat Khyakim T.Atahallyev reported on the course of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As was reported, land is prepared for cotton sowing, and wheat crops are cared for in accordance with the agro-technical requirements with a particular focus on applying mineral fertilizers and watering.

All machinery and units are fully prepared for the spring season. The planting of early potatoes are at the final stage, in parallel with caring for onion crops.

Having heard the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of an integrated approach to the field work, their quality and strict compliance with the agro-technical requirements and terms, giving a number of instructions to the khyakim in this regard. Separate instructions were given on control over the care of wheat crops, preparation of land for cotton sowing and planting spring vegetables in accordance with agro-technical standards.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued by the report of Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim N. Nazarmyradov.

As was reported, seasonal agricultural work in the region, including the watering and mineral fertilizing of wheat fields, land leveling, soil washing for cotton, are carried out taking into account agro-technical requirements.

Agricultural machinery and units are fully prepared for the sowing campaign.

At the same time, soil preparation and planting of potatoes, onions and other vegetables, melons, watermelons and gourds are carried out within the agro-technical terms.

In this regard, the head of the state instructed the khyakim to control the compliance of seasonal agricultural work with agro-technical standards in particular, in terms of preparation for sowing cotton, planting early potatoes and other vegetables, melons, watermelons and gourds.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

These days, applying mineral fertilizers and watering wheat crops, leveling land for cotton, and washing the soil are in progress.

Machinery and units are completely ready for spring sowing. Moreover, the planting of early potatoes and onions continues according to agro-technical standards.

The President of Turkmenistan ordered to control the quality and timeliness of work on caring for wheat crops, planting early potatoes and other vegetables, melons, watermelons and gourds, having given specific instructions to the khyakim.

Then Mary Velayat Khyakim D. Annaberdiev reported on the course of seasonal campaigns in the region.

As was reported, preparations for sowing cotton are currently underway, in particular, land leveling. The check of the readiness of machinery and units that will be operated in the spring sowing campaign has been completed.

Work is well underway in strict compliance with agro-technical standards to care for wheat, in particular, applying mineral fertilizers and watering, as well as planting early potatoes and other vegetables, melons, watermelons and gourds.

Having heard the report, the head of state stressed the importance of compliance with agro-technical requirements during the spring sowing season and instructed to increase the pace of preparing land for cotton sowing.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov reported on the progress of agricultural work in the country.

As was reported, in order to successfully implement the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on gathering a bountiful harvest of wheat in Turkmenistan in 2023, work is currently under way in the velayats to take care of crops in accordance with agro-industrial standards, in particular, applying mineral fertilizers and conducting vegetative irrigation. Along with this, appropriate weed and pest control measures are taken.

In order to gather a bountiful harvest, plowing has been completed and the leveling of land allocated for cotton continues, land leveling is carried out on the cultivated fields. In order to provide tenants with high-quality seed stock, cotton ginning enterprises take the necessary measures to prepare seeds.

The planting of potatoes and onions continues at full speed, and efforts are made to complete them in a timely manner.

The vice-premier also said that in order to efficiently and rationally manage water resources in the country special attention is paid to supplying wheat fields with irrigation water and improving the operation of irrigation systems.

Having heradf the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of the upcoming agricultural season and specified that the main requirement of the day is to take care of the wheat fields in accordance with agro-technical standards.

Along with this, the head of state ordered to keep under control the preparation of areas for cotton and the planting of vegetables, melons, watermelons and gourds within the agro-technical terms.

The President of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of velayats to select seedlings of shady, fruit trees and grapes for spring sowing campaign, determine their planting sites, and also control the preparation of lands for cotton sowing, and work on wheat care.

Then the hyakims of velayats reported on the progress of construction of residential buildings, health houses, health-improving centers, clinics, schools and kindergartens, cultural centers, water pipelines, water treatment facilities, vertical wells, as well as collectors, roads, gas pipelines, communications and power transmission systems under the National Rural Program.

Gurbanov, who reported on the implementation of the provisions specified in the National Program for the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, settlements, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.

Having heard the report, the President instructed the head of the regional administration to strictly control the quality and deadlines of the construction of various facilities, as well as related infrastructure, scheduled for commissioning this year under the National Rural Program.

Then Balkan Velayat Khyakim of T. Atahallyev reported on the state of affairs in the construction of buildings and facilities to be built and reconstructed in the region in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Summing up the report, the head of state instructed the khyakim to control the pace of construction of social facilities, engineering systems, scheduled for commissioning this year as part of the Program for socio-economic development of the country.

Then Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim N. Nazarmyradov reported on the activities ongoing for the successful implementation of the objectives specified in the National Rural Program.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the need for a responsible approach to the implementation of programs aimed at improving the living conditions of the population, having instructed to ensure strict control over the quality and timing of construction work at various facilities to be put into operation this year.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev informed about the construction progress of various facilities, which are scheduled for the construction and renovation in the eastern region of the country as part of the National Rural Program.

Summing up the report, the head of state noted that the purpose of the National Rural Program is to improve the living conditions of the population of villages and small towns of the Homeland, promote the social development of rural areas and reform the engineering and communications system, instructing the khyakim to pay special attention to timely and high-quality construction work.

Then Mary Velayat Khyakim D. Annaberdiev reported on the construction of various facilities and engineering systems planned under the National Program for the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that the effective improvement of the life of the population is one of the priorities of the state policy, having instructed to strictly control the construction of buildings and facilities scheduled for opening this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Concluding the working meeting via a digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants sound health, great success in large-scale activities for the wellbeing of the Turkmen people and the prosperity of the Homeland.
