President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and all the fraternal people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“Over the years, bilateral fraternal ties based on historical bonds of friendship, good neighborliness and mutual trust have consistently developed, covering all new areas of cooperation.
I would like to note with satisfaction that today the content of the Turkmen-Uzbek relations is conditioned by full mutual understanding both in views on the priorities and prospects of interstate partnership and on the trends of global development.
Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are united by the proximity or coincidence of approaches on key issues of international life. This is clearly manifested in the well-established systemic interaction of our countries within the framework of international and regional structures.
Turkmen-Uzbek trade and economic ties demonstrate good dynamics, mutual trade turnover is steadily growing, cooperation in the energy, transport and communication and agricultural sectors is actively expanding.
Bilateral contacts in the cultural, scientific, educational fields are successfully developing, which is a bridge for the rapprochement of our peoples, strengthening the centuries-old friendship and good-neighborliness between them,” the head of state noted in his message, expressing firm conviction that the strategic partnership of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will continue to develop dynamically and deepen for the common good through joint efforts.
Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan wished President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sound health, well-being and success, and the fraternal people of the Republic of Uzbekistan – further progress and prosperity.
