On November 7, “Yyldyz” Hotel in Ashgabat hosted the conference - “Technology Cooperation and the Initiatives in Energy, Transport and Industry” - in the context of the Turkmen–Korean economic cooperation advancement. Forum participants were involved in the interested exchange of views and opinions on the advancement of bilateral agreements reached at various levels and concrete steps for their further implementation. The reports of Turkmen specialists reflected the essence of large-scale programs for socio-economic development initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, Turkmenistan’s major achievements and successes on its way towards reaching new heights of progress and integrating into the global economy. Placing stress on the exclusive importance of such business meetings, representatives of Turkmenistan’s public and private structures, as well as the heads of branch offices of leading South Korean companies in our country including Samsung C&T, LG International, Evergreen Motors, Hyundai Corp., Hyundai Engineering, Posco E&C, spoke in favor of comprehensive strengthening and expansion of cooperation built on the principles of equality and mutual benefit. Participants of the Forum expressed confidence in furthering and activating the partnership in the fields of energy, transport and industry.
