On August 27, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on the instructions of the President of the country, examined with the state of affairs in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

Here, a man-made river was built on the initiative of the Arkadag, which contributed to the formation of a climate salubrious for human health in the resort area. This is another evidence that all-round care for the health and proper recreation of citizens is a priority of the state policy.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh noted that the Avaza River was the result of special work carried out in the resort area jointly with scientists, which had a significant positive impact on the local climate.

The Arkadag emphasized the relevance of a responsible and systematic approach to the implementation of administrative and economic processes in the recreation area.

The Arkadag asked about the number of vacationers in Avaza during the holiday season this year. According to the Hyakim, their visitors’ number exceeded 150 thousand people for three months.

Heading to the boat, standing at the pier, admiring the beauty of the area, the Arkadag sqaid that it would be appropriate to organize river and sea tours for vacationers in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, which will leave pleasant memories in them.

It will be interesting for both adults and children. There are all opportunities for boat tours in the Caspian Sea, along the Avaza River, which is more than seven kilometers long. If necessary, boats and motorboats should be purchased, the Arkadag emphasized and advised the Hyakim to study this issue in detail.

The Hero Arkadag stressed the need to organize leisure activities for both the young and the older generation. Great importance must be attached to educating young people in the spirit of patriotism and love for our beautiful nature, which must be reflected in providing cleanliness and wellbeing in the tourist area.

During a walk along the Caspian coast, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the possibilities of this excellent site created on the seashore are aimed at creating conditions for people to have a high level of recreation and improve their health. The green flag flying in the center of Avaza increases the pride of the people for the Homeland and our happy life.

The Hero Arkadag emphasized the importance of combining the recreation opportunities with sporting events, having given some advice in this regard. As was highlighted, regular physical exercises and sports have positive effect not only on the physical health of a person, but also the state of mind, as well as intellectual and creative activity.

Then the Arkadag had a bike ride along Avaza.

Thanks to the initiative of the Hero Arkadag, an active supporter of a healthy lifestyle, the development of mass physical training and high-performance sports in Turkmenistan is one of the priority areas of the state policy. This contributes to an increase in the number of cyclists.

During the bike ride, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper care for the gardens, woodlands and various flowers spreading along the banks of the Avaza River and gave his comments on the matter.
