Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has received Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Çalik Holding” Group of Companies Ahmet Çalik, who arrived in our country to participate in the opening ceremony of the Power Equipment Repair and Maintenance Center built in Buzmein etrap of the capital.

Prior to the meeting, the head of state conveyed to the Turkish businessman warm greetings from Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, highlighting the fruitful nature of long-term cooperation with Turkish companies, which resulted in the implementation of a number of large joint projects, including in the electric power industry.

In this regard, the head of state stressed the importance of opening the unique for Central Asia enterprise, designed to provide high-quality repairs and long operation of equipment based on high technologies. Comprehensive modernization and diversification of the national economy, where the emphasis is on using the best world experience and advanced technological achievements, provides for the construction of many facilities for various purposes, which must meet in all respects international standards, the head of state said.

Expressing gratitude for finding time for the meeting, the businessman congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on the commissioning of the high-tech Center, pointing out that the holding he leads is sincerely proud of participating in the implementation of this project and is interested in further mutually beneficial cooperation. Emphasizing that the new production facility is the result of the tireless activity and initiative approach of Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to development of the electric power industry, Ahmet Chalyk sent to the Hero Arkadag the wishes for long years of life, sound health, and energy in the fulfillment of the grandiose plans in the new historical epoch.

During the meeting, the state and prospects for the development of productive cooperation in various fields were discussed. The head of “Çalik Holding” reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the progress of important joint projects being carried out in partnership with the world-famous General Electric Company as part of large-scale transformation programs ongoing in our country.

Having heard the information, the head of state drew attention to the fact that the indispensable condition of the Turkmen party was and remains the high quality of construction work and the immutable requirement for the commissioning of the facilities being built within the terms stipulated by the contracts.

At the end of the meeting, the Turkish businessman assured the President of Turkmenistan that the company headed by him would continue to approach the fulfillment of its partnership obligations in the most serious and responsible manner.
