The state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Uzbekistan has begun.

In Tashkent, the Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will discuss the development of mutually beneficial Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The parties will also exchange views on international and regional policy issues of mutual interest.

As a result of the talks at the highest level, it is planned to sign a solid package of bilateral documents designed to give a powerful impetus to the development of traditionally friendly relations between Ashgabat and Tashkent.
