Today, on the instructions of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council Eric Stewart and Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Nicklaus Companies Board of Directors John Reese.

Expressing gratitude for finding time to meet, the businessmen congratulated the President of Turkmenistan and the Arkadag on the widely celebrated City Day, expressing their best wishes.

During the conversation, the progressive nature of interstate relations was highlighted, where the main focus is on stepping up trade and economic ties.

Speaking of the high interest of the US business communities in establishing closer relations with the state institutions and business entities of our country, expanding the areas of joint activities built on the principles of trust and equality, the businessmen declared their interest in strengthening their positions in the promising Turkmen market.

The topic of discussion was the activity of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council, plans for the development of cooperation in the future, as well as current and promising joint projects in priority areas of mutual interest, in particular, in the energy and financial sectors, and in the fields of agriculture, digital systems and sports.

At the end of the meeting the Hero Arkadag and the American businessmen exchanged kind wishes, expressing confidence in the steady strengthening of interstate relations built on the principles of equality, trust and mutual benefit.
