Today, on behalf of the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a representative delegation of our country headed by Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh, Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan, Haji Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for the United Arab Emirates, where they will take part in commemorative events in connection with the untimely death of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan made a significant contribution to the development of constructive and mutually beneficial relations between the United Arab Emirates and independent neutral Turkmenistan. Thanks to bilateral efforts, interstate partnership has reached a qualitatively new level. And the participation of a representative delegation headed by the Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan, Khadzhi-Arkadag in the mourning events in honor of the prominent statesman of the fraternal country is another manifestation of respect for him.
