President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and all the people of the country on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Relations between our states are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust, the head of state noted, emphasizing that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral ties, and also expressed confidence that thanks to joint efforts, cooperation between our countries will continue to develop in the interests of both peoples.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting the bilateral and multilateral business partnership between Turkmenistan and Pakistan in various areas within the framework of reputable international organizations, highlighted that the economic development of the region, strengthening good-neighborly relations, ensuring sustainable progress is associated with the implementation of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) international gas pipeline project.

Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, the head of state expressed sincere wishes to President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for sound health, happiness and well-being, and to the fraternal people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for further progress and prosperity.
