Today, a new pharmacy was opened in the city of Tejen, Akhal velayat, built as part of the implementation of state reform programs that provide for the development of cities and villages of the country and, above all, the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052.

It is this long-term strategic program that determines the socially-oriented political course of our country at a new stage of development, called "Revival of a new era of a powerful state." “In the new period of development, we have set ourselves higher goals. And our main goal is to ensure stability and security, the socio-economic development of our native Motherland, further improve the living standards of our people, strengthen peace and mutual trust on the planet,” President Serdar Berdimuhamedov notes.

Having made it his priority to take care of a person and provide each family with modern housing, the head of state consistently and purposefully fulfills the promises made to the people. An example of this is the second stage of the cottage complex named after Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov, solemnly opened on March 24 with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan, in the Choganly residential area in the north of the capital.

It is noteworthy that the commissioning of a facility specializing in providing pharmaceutical assistance to the population took place on the eve of the World Health Day widely celebrated in Turkmenistan.

The protection of the health of the people was proclaimed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov as a priority of the socially oriented state course. In his speech at the inauguration ceremony, the head of state emphasized: “Human health in our country is the highest value of society and the state, and therefore a lot of work will be done in the field of protecting public health, preventing and eradicating diseases, developing healthcare and the medical industry in accordance with the global level. Reforms will continue in the healthcare system. New hospitals, health-improving institutions provided with modern medical equipment and drugs will be built.”

As the head of state emphasizes, thanks to the socially oriented policy, the priority of which was and remains concern for the well-being of the people, Turkmenistan has become widely known as a country of health and high spirit.

In the domestic healthcare sector, a modern infrastructure is being formed that takes into account global trends and contributes to strengthening the health of the nation. Medical institutions equipped with the latest high-tech equipment and providing various medical services to the population, including the rural population, have been built and continue to be built everywhere.

Today, on the basis of medicinal plants that grow on the fertile Turkmen land and have miraculous powers, a number of medicines and herbal products are produced in the country.

In the structure of the Buyan complex in Lebap, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry and produces preparations based on licorice root, it is planned to open a new enterprise in 2024 for the annual production of 390 tons of glycyrrhizic acid.

The new pharmacy in Tejen offers a wide range of domestic and European medicines, all kinds of medical products, diagnostic tools and equipment. In addition, a special department is reserved for veterinary medicine.

The establishment of a pharmacy system with a total area of 500 square meters, which meets the relevant requirements, belongs to a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country - an individual enterprise "Tebigat Çeşmesi", which has experience in managing objects of a similar profile in the regions of the country.

There is a spacious and customer-friendly trading floor, departments of medicines, medical equipment, veterinary, as well as a warehouse.

The staff of the pharmacy, which works without breaks and days off, is made up of specialist pharmacists, pharmacists, consultants and veterinarians. This enables buyers to also receive timely and qualified advice.
