On October 25, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Mr Igor Makarov, Head of “ARETI” Company (Russia). Having expressed his appreciation for taking the time to meet, the guest extended to the Head of the State his felicitations on the upcoming national holiday, the 25th anniversary of independence, and wishes for well-being and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan. The national Leader thanked the guest for congratulations and kind words and said that our country always remained open to mutually beneficial business contacts with leading members of the global business community, including Russian companies. Having stressed that Turkmenistan attached great significance to issues of introducing cutting-edge technologies and adopting best practices of foreign specialists, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov noted with satisfaction that “ARETI” had proven to be among our country’s reliable business partners. In this regard, the Head of “ARETI” expressed his willingness to offer the company’s vast capacity for implementing promising joint projects in various spheres under major transformation programs being implemented in the country, including cooperation in oil and gas and construction that are top priority areas for development in Turkmenistan. Exchange of views covered main fields of cooperation for the immediate future, including possible collaboration in the sphere of forming the sports infrastructure.
