Today, the Center for Public Organizations hosted a conference “The Epoch of the people with Arkadag - the triumph of unity, cohesion, statehood, justice and development.”

The event dedicated to the approval of the motto and emblem of 2022 was attended by the leaders and representatives of Milli Gengesh, public organizations and political parties, science and education, the media, honorary elders, and youth.

A wonderful tradition, established by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to give names to each year, proclaiming in its slogan the key guidelines of national development at a new stage, contributes to an increase in the patriotic spirit and the desire of every citizen to be involved and make a personal contribution to the colossal work carried out in the country.

With great enthusiasm, the people of Turkmenistan received the message about the approval of their proposal for the motto of the year – “The Epoch of the people with Arkadag”, which was a tribute of high respect to the Hero-President, the founder of a happy era, leading the people and the Fatherland to new achievements. The successes of sovereign Turkmenistan are the result of the deeply thought-out and far-sighted policy of the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the participants noted.

At present, under the wise leadership of the leader of the nation, the united people of our country live, enjoying the benefits of a happy life, selflessly working, and successfully solving the tasks set to transform all sectors of the national economy. This further strengthens the faith of compatriots in a bright future.

As the speakers noted, the ideological message of the motto of 2022, which became the expression of the will of the people, is aimed at widely popularizing the large-scale achievements of the Fatherland inextricably linked with the activities of the head of state, progressive socio-economic transformations and peacemaking initiatives being implemented in our country.

The motto reflects the feelings of boundless pride, love and respect of the Turkmen people for their national leader, whom the people call - Arkadag, as well as confidence in the future happy day of an independent neutral Motherland.

Expressing gratitude to the head of Turkmenistan for the huge role in the progressive development of the country and the growth of its authority in the world arena, the participants of the celebration emphasized that the Year of the Epoch of the People with Arkadag will undoubtedly be marked by new glorious achievements and great deeds.

For the coming year, 2022, large-scale plans and tasks have been identified to further strengthen the national economy, develop the spheres of science, education and culture, health care, and the social system. All of them are aimed at increasing the level of well-being of the Turkmen people, the quality of their life, the participants noted, assuring of their active participation in the implementation of these plans, the popularization of the progressive domestic and foreign policy of the President of Turkmenistan, the achievements of their beloved Motherland on the path of peace and progress.

In the address adopted by the conference participants, gratitude was expressed to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the titanic work for the benefit of further prosperity of beloved Motherland and the happiness of the Turkmen people.

The atmosphere of high patriotic enthusiasm was supported by performances of art masters dedicated to their beloved Fatherland, and the leader of the nation - Arkadag of the Turkmen people.

The celebration in the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center marked the approval of the motto of 2022 – “The Epoch of the people with Arkadag”, the participants of which included members of the Government, leaders and representatives of the cultural sector, specialized departments and institutions, the media, rectors of universities, masters of arts.

The literary and musical composition “The Epoch of the People with Arkadag”, performed by the artists of the National Drama Theater named after Alp Arslan, became a creative expression of the gratitude, respect and love of the Turkmen people to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, thanks to which independent neutral Turkmenistan confidently follows the path of peace and creation.

As the speakers emphasized, the motto of 2022 corresponds to the mentality of the Turkmen, their cultural traditions, it is inextricably linked with humanistic principles, which are now the basis of the domestic and foreign policy of the President of the country, the progressive development of our state.

The main slogan of the country also includes the idea of the continuity of generations and the upbringing of youth in the spirit of boundless love and pride for the Motherland - independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan, the participants emphasized.

The enormous role and personal participation of the President of the country in the development of national culture as a priority direction of state policy, creating the best conditions for fruitful creative, intellectual work, stimulating young talents in our inspired time of renewal and progressive changes was noted.

The speeches of the event participants were combined with creative dedications to the motto of 2022, prepared by famous poets, stage masters, and popular pop performers.

At the end of the event, the song “The Epoch of the People with Arkadag” sounded with the anthem of the independent Motherland, confidently entering the new year of the era of power and happiness under the leadership of the leader of the nation.

The participants of the solemn action adopted a gratitude address to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in which they expressed their deep gratitude to the head of state for the multifaceted activity in the name of the prosperous life of the people and the prosperity of the Motherland.
