Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting devoted to issues of development of fuel and energy as well as financial and economic complexes of the country with participation of related deputy-chairmen of the Cabinet and heads of a number of profile institutions.

Having announced his decision to hold the meeting, in which the results of the work of the fuel and energy complex and its economic state will be considered, the leader of the nation pointed out that as a result of the energy policy realized in Turkmenistan, the given branch, including gas sector, develops dynamically.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Sh.Abdrahmanov, who reported on fulfilment of the commissions given by the leader of the nation for development of the oil and gas complex, introduction of the latest achievements of science, innovative technologies, digital system, international experience in the fuel and energy complex, attraction of foreign investments, rise of export volume of natural gas, was the first to take the floor.

The Deputy-Chairman also informed on the measures implemented to develop further production of natural gas and its efficient sale in international markets.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Serdar Berdimuhamedov reported on the related measures realized in the financial and economic complex, use of capital investment at the expense of all sources of financing as well as the state of affairs in the sphere he supervises.

Summing up the report, the leader of the nation made an emphasis on the importance to take effective measures for ensuring economic stability and growth as well as on the necessity to analyse regularly the state of affairs, control over target-oriented use of funds by sectors of national economy.

The head of Turkmenistan commissioned the Deputy-Cairman to take concrete measures with a view of timely solution of goals set before institutions of the oil and gas complex.

Then, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, having outlined a number of priority goals, gave participants of the meeting related assignments.

The leader of the nation noted that it is necessary to work hardly for improvement of work of the gas sector involving efficiently all the available industrial capacities.

The state of the head underlined that one should enhance efficiency of organization of labour in enterprises of gas industry on the basis of the latest scientific and technological achievements and digitalization. One should attract as much investment as possible to the sector for it.

Having made an emphasis on the necessity to conduct a deep analysis of consumption of natural gas as well as its prices in world markets today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave Deputy-Chairman Sh.Abdrahmanov concrete commissions.

Further, the head of the state commissioned him to intensify development of the gas deposit «Galkynysh», which in reserve of natural gas takes one of the first places in the world.

The state head also commissioned him to study in detail the related international experience in conclusion of contracts of sale of natural gas by «Türkmengaz» State Concern and gave related instructions concerning the tasks for export of Turkmen gas to foreign countries.

The leader of the nation commissioned Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Serdar Berdimuhamedov to carry out a regular monitoring of financial and economic state of the oil and gas complex, realization of its potential and to keep this issue under a regular control.

The head of the state entrusted the Ministry of Finance and Economy and Central Bank to study in detail the financial and economic state of enterprises of the fuel and energy complex, utilization of its capacities, and keep it under an unremitting control.

Summing up the outcome of the meeting, the leader of the nation once again marked the importance of issues considered today and in particular, pointed out that the ensuring of economic progress of the country acts as a priority for all realized programs, gave related authorities concrete assignments in this regard and wished them successes in solution of the tasks set before them.
