Today in the conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan the presentation of the edition of the book by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov «White City Ashgabat» in Turkish has taken place.

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, diplomats of friendly countries, heads, the faculty, students of capital high schools, and editors of domestic periodicals took part in the presentation. In the online mode heads of centres of science and higher educational institutions of Ankara – the capital of Turkey joined the ceremony.

As participants of the celebration pointed out, it is deeply symbolical that the present presentation is organised in the year, which is marked in our country under the motto «Turkmenistan – Homeland of peace and trust» and noted by significant dates - the 30^th anniversary of sacred independence of Fatherland and the 140^th anniversary of the foundation of Ashkhabad.

The new Turkish edition filled itself an extensive library of books of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov published in the language of fraternal people that testifies to deep respect for the head of the Turkmen state, a recognition of big merits of the Turkmen leader in promotion of universal peace and progress.

Speaking in the action, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Turkish Republic in Turkmenistan Togan Oral noted that the publication of the book of the President of Turkmenistan «White City Ashgabat» in the Turkish language specifies a high level of bilateral relations and will bring an important contribution to the further strengthening of the Turkmen-Turkish relations which bear a friendly and mutually beneficial character.

Participants of the presentation were unanimous in the opinion that the work by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov allows to familiarise with history, to estimate unique beauty, architectural features of the chief town of our country in which one can find reflexion of culture, traditions and cultural wealth of Turkmen people, to glance in the tomorrow of the Turkmen capital. All it makes the edition useful and interesting for mass readers.

Participants of the presentation prepared the Message to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in which they underlined that publication of the new work, being important event in the history of growing Turkmen-Turkish relations, will promote further development of scientific and cultural contacts of two fraternal people.
