On the day off in the morning President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, following the developed tradition, having executed physical exercises, made a bicycle ride in the foothills of Kopet Dagh, and also visited Akhal-teke racers.

Having proclaimed one of the key tasks consolidation in the society of principles healthy and active lifestyle, the leader of the nation gives to all compatriots, and first of all the younger generation, an enthusiastic example, regularly going in for physical culture and sport.

During cycling the head of state admired delightful landscapes of the foothills, magnificence of white marble Ashgabat. Our capital which noted this year 140 years from the date of the basis turned into one of the most beautiful cities of the world and by right is called shining "pearl" of Asia.

Morning cool in an early autumn, picturesque mountain landscapes with coniferous forests invigorate spirit and lighten mood. Thanks to selfless activity of the head of state in various corners of our Fatherland, in particular in the capital and the foothills of Kopet Dagh, extensive green zones are created that well affects climate.

As President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlines, pure ecology, health and sport - concepts inseparable emphasizes. According to the Resolution of the United Nations General Assembly adopted at the initiative of the leader of the nation there was a new holiday uniting the countries and people, - World Bicycle Day which is celebrated on June 3. It will not be exaggeration to tell that it is one more contribution of our country to "green" development of the planet, to the improving movement and achievement of the objectives of sustainable development.

The highest award of the International Union of Cyclists (UCI) which was handed to the leader of the nation last year became a sign of recognition of merits and large-scale activities of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for promoting of bicycle sport and its conclusion to the international level.

"We consider physical culture and sport as force which unites our society and inspires people on continuous development. Being guided by it, we develop the grass-roots sports and improving movement in all regions of the country including in Avaza national tourist zone, we build world-class sports complexes, stadiums, horse-racing complexes, specialized sports schools. And in our beautiful capital we created a peculiar Olympic town", - the leader of the nation told.

Here my advice to the youth - to our future - love sport! Sport is the force, beauty, health and high spirit!

The great future of the Turkmen sport is in sure hands of our valorous youth. We immensely are proud of it, the leader of the nation emphasized.

Along with modernization of domestic health system that provided to the population access to a wide range of modern medical services at the level of the international standards, physical culture and sport have indisputable positive impact on quality and life expectancy of people.

At the same time dynamically technical sports, including auto motorcycle sport develop. Exactly thanks to support of the head of state who is the skilled master in this sports discipline in Ashgabat the Centre of motoring and the motor-cycle racing track which is its part were open. Having proved as the high quality racing driver, the leader of the nation repeatedly showed excellent skills of sports driving, excellent managing to drive the racing car also in cross-country conditions.

And of course, equestrian sport traditionally enjoys permanently wide popularity of our people. After all Turkmenistan - the homeland of the Akhal teke racers, glorified, unsurpassed on the beauty differing in remarkable sports qualities. Today in the country with active support of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who is the original expert on "heavenly" horses and the magnificent master of riding national and other types of equestrian sport, in particular jumping successfully develop.

"Paradise" racers - a peculiar symbol of our promptly developing independent Homeland that creates new opportunities for worthy continuation of the glorious way of Akhal-teke racers in world equestrian sport and full disclosure of their abilities. Also merits of the Turkmen leader are in this case invaluable.

Having arrived in the Akhal-teke horse complex of the President of Turkmenistan that by the developed good tradition to visit "paradise" horses, the head of state made walk on racer Akyol.

Then the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov brought a racer to a racetrack and made with it slow walk. Warming up, the horse ran a jog trot, sensitively listening to the movements of the skilled equestrian.

Having finished riding, the President of the country left the Akhal-teke horse complex of the President of Turkmenistan.
