Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who is on a working trip to Balkan region, together with his grandsons has taken a voyage on the Caspian Sea by modern yacht "Rakhat".

Easily sliding on waves, the high-class vessel set off for voyage along the coast of Avaza national tourist zone.

During the voyage President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took an interest in how his grandsons pass their leisure-time and what they are engaged. In turn children with inspiration recited for the head of the state their verses singing of beauty of nature of their native Fatherland.

Today the President of Turkmenistan also has visited the multi-purpose sport centre "Avaza" located on the coast of the Caspian Sea. Here the head of the state had a talk with his colleagues on development of sports in the country.

The leader of the nation noted that it should become a norm of life for each citizen of the country, having disposed to continue purposeful work in the given direction. The regularity of practice of sports favourably influences not only on physical, but also an emotional condition of human and also on its intellectual and creative activity.

This time members of the Government, following the lead of the head of the state, were engaged in performance of physical exercises, and also, having divided into teams, organised competitions in various sports in sports halls of the complex.

It is necessary to note that President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attaches a special significance for active popularisation of present achievements of Turkmen sports, successes of our sportsmen in prestigious international tournaments. The combination of competitions with cultural events will inspire sportsmen to new, even more impressing successes and will serve rise of prestige of national sports.
