The gifts have been handed over and congratulation, wishes of happy life, health and prosperity have been conveyed on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the parents of the fist children born in Turkmen capital on the Day of Ashgabat and its 140th anniversary.
The babies were born in Scientific and Clinical Center of Mother and Child Health Protection. A boy was born in the family of Islam and Selbi Orazmyradovs while a girl in the family of Ayna and Yazmuhammet Atajikovs. Both child in these families are the first.
The condition of the babies is satisfactory. The boy was born with weight of 3.985 kilograms while the girl – 3.720 kilograms. The height of both children is 53 centimeters.
While waiting for delivery of the first children, young families were encouraged with proposal of the head of the state to give name Paytagt or Ashgabat to the first boy who would be born on May 25, 2021 and name Merjen or Maya to the girl. Turkmen leader noted that it would be an original sign of love of the capital.
The parents of the children decided to name boy Ashgabat and girl – Merjen, which is translated as a pearl.
Happy parents have expressed sincere gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the state policy for support of family and maternity, permanent care of growing generation.
