COVID-19 vaccine, CoronaVac, developed by the Chinese company Sinovac, was delivered to Turkmenistan. As a result of clinical trials in several countries around the world, this vaccine has proved its high efficiency and safety.

Chinese vaccines are stored at the Center for Public Health and Nutrition of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, as well as in Ashgabat and velayat sanitary and epidemiological services, where the necessary conditions for their storage have been created.

In connection with the coronavirus pandemic, to stabilize the immune status of the population, our country received Russian vaccines Sputnik V and EriWakCorona, as well as BIOwak from the People's Republic of China.

All vaccines delivered to the country are stored in vaccine warehouses in compliance with the "cold chain", in strict accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and UNICEF.

In connection with the receipt of a sufficient amount of vaccines against COVID-19, the vaccination of the highly vulnerable group of population has started.
