During the session of the Government on May 7, the head of the state has focused that the Victory Day falls on other holidays observed in the holy month of Ramadan this year.
Taking into account the traditions and customs of our people as well as other events, the President of Turkmenistan proposed to hold all celebration events on the evening of May 9. Flower laying ceremony to the Memorial Complex “People’s Memory” will be held on this day, after which food donation will be given to pay tribute to the memory of fellow countrymen who were lost in war.
